Sadly enough, the most painful goodbyes are the ones that are left unsaid and never explained.

Back in Bailrigg

It feels good to be back at home, home is Lancaster, Lancaster is home. Two weeks in Manchester was enough torture since things didn't go as planned. My mother's wedding was cancelled due to my insolence. Noah refused to answer our calls. When we went to his house, his guards humiliated us. We waited for him to come back, but he didn't.

When he did, he left my mother a breakup message, saying he couldn't have a child as rude as I was as his step-daughter and other hurtful things that made my mother lock herself up for days.

My mother was mad at me for what I did and refused to talk to me. She even refused to say goodbye when I was leaving. I must look like a disaster to her already. I feel bad for her because she thought she had found everything she didn't have in Noah, but there's nothing we can do anymore.

It's Monday, the day I decided to go back to school since my return from Washington. I decided to look different since it's been a while. I settled for a blue tank top and black, pleated skirt that hung above my knee but was acceptable. At least I look better than a hooker. It will be considered perfect if it is compared to the type of clothes Georgia wears. I rocked it with a pair of knee-length socks and black canvas.

I packed my hair in a ponytail. I looked totally different but in a good way, and I was pleased with myself for my unusual fashion sense. Fiona said I looked like one of those mannequins displayed in first-class boutiques, but I waved off the comment by telling her I couldn't trust her because of how good a liar she was in the first grade.

After breakfast, we walked to Fiona's newly sprayed Honda. I dreaded Mondays because it was the day I had the most boring lectures and without Fiona. I had history first, then physics and then biology.

I really wish Fiona was a science student like me, so we would have most or all of our classes together. The distance from physics clinic to biology clinic is annoyingly long. I once considered taking a cab. If I had a car of my own, I really wouldn't bother walking this long all alone.

I still haven't found a way to apologize to Edward. I could use a quote to apologize rather than a pickup line since I'm bad at forming them. Maybe a line from Hello by Adele will do. I can go with "Hello from the outside". At least I can say that I've tried to tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart." as my introduction. Well, I did break his heart, didn't I? Or maybe...

"Hey, Mia". Someone shouted, interrupting my thoughts. Who could it be? The only people I talk to in this school are Dan and Fiona. The voice sounded distant but familiar. It could be a person I know. I felt someone hold me from behind. I turned back to see a person I never thought I would see again. My heart literally stopped beating. He barked out a wicked laughter that brought back memories that shattered my already broken heart.

I tried to run, but his big hands held me in place. I tried to scream, but he stuffed my mouth with a piece of rag he had with him.
He looked around to be sure there was no one in sight and dragged me into the closest room. I must be an unlucky girl because the room he dragged me into was the yoga room. Not many people offered yoga, and we had it only on Wednesdays since it was an extracurricular activity.

The building area was deserted because of the rumor that reptiles and some evil spirits resided around it. It looked like the perfect setting for a Gothic play and was the perfect example of a hunted house.

He locked the door behind him and pushed me to the floor. I cried and begged, but I earned slaps. I cried until there was no strength left in me to cry.

"You never thought you would see me again, did you?" He said, laughing. "You're my daughter and cannot be held back from me. You deserve to be punished for the stress I went through, looking for you".

"You're beautiful and irresistible, and if I weren't at the hospital where you were born, I would say you fell from heaven." "I'll be fast, so you won't miss your classes, but if you need me, you know where to find me". He said, winking as he wagged his belt in my face.

I begged God to take me at that moment. There was no way I could escape this. I couldn't even cry for help because I was sure it wouldn't come. He pressed his weight on me and supported himself with his elbow. He trailed kisses all over my face, down to my neck and moved his hands down to pull my panties off when I heard a thud-like sound. It was so loud that I thought an asteroid had fallen.

Well, maybe God had finally answered my prayers and sent down an asteroid to fall on us. It is better to die than to face this, isn't it?

Slowly, his weight was pushed off me. I heard voices saying things that I couldn't decipher, and I blanked out.

Sam

I should be in Biology class, but I have a headache. I can't go to class like this. I feel weak, and I need to recreate.

I need a secluded place to stay to hide from teachers or any prying eyes. Since I was on my way to the biology clinic already, I have to stop. I'm ditching class again. Biology is of no use to me anyway, I'm only offering it because my father wants me to.

The road to the biology clinic is always secluded, so I can get a comfortable spot here. None of my friends offer biology except Gavin, but he is in detention.

I was walking back to my locker when I saw something I would rather not see again till I draw my last breath. I may be Sam, the popular bad boy that played girls, ditched class, smoked and did all sorts of things, but never in my weirdest imagination have I thought of taking carnal knowledge of a girl. I decided I needed to do something for the girl. I halted my movement and stopped in front of the room.I jumped through the window since it looked as if the door was locked. Apparently, the idiot had forgotten to pull the curtains. The window was high, and I could hurt myself, but I don't care, I have to save the poor girl. I rushed to him, pulled him off her and punched him hard in the face, shouting and raining curses at him. He lunged at me, but I dodged his attack. Times like this make me thank my mother for enrolling me in a Kung Fu class as a kid.

I rushed to the girl who looked as if she was out of breath already. She needed help. I called my friends to come to my aid and performed mouth to mouth resuscitation on her. When she opened her eyes, I smiled, but my smile faded when I did a quick once over. It was Mia.

Hey guys! I have nothing to say... Just do the needful... Xoxo!
