It's exactly one month since Sam and I went on a date. We've constantly been in touch, and, surprisingly, we're close friends. I think he's friends with me because he feels some empathy for me because of my story, but...
I need to wear something different today or maybe I want to wear something different today. And so, I go with an alter neck top and short plaid skirt.

Fiona left early because she had an early morning class to attend.

I was fixing my hair when my phone beeped. I decided to attend it later, but I was distracted by another beep. I walked over to the stand to pick it up.

I had a text. From who? I thought. Oh, not just a text, two texts. They were from Sam and Fiona.

The message from Sam read:
Hey, I'm coming to pick you up :)
Oh great! He'll save me the stress of taking a train.

I decided to check the message from Fiona. It read:
Hey, I just got off the phone with Lisa. She said the latest rumor is about you going out with Sam. You should get yourself ready for looks you'll get and all.

So much for being a gentle girl. I sighed.
Lisa is a member of the school's gossip mill, so whatever she says is true. I decided to text Sam not to worry about picking me up.
Hey, Good morning... Thank you for the offer, but...

I was interrupted by a knock on the door. Who could it be? Fiona is in school, and neither of us is expecting a visitor.

I opened the door and was greeted by Sam. “Er... Hi” I greeted. “Hello” He responded, flashing me his beautiful smile.

“I was just about to tell you not to worry about picking me up.” I told him. “Why?” He said, giving me a quizzical look. “Here.” I said and showed him the text from Fiona. His brows creased as he read it. He sighed and looked up at me.

“Do you care?” He asked. “You're not really asking me that, are you? I mean did you even read the text? She said everyone...” I trailed off. “Hey, chill out.” He said and smiled again.

“You just have to act like you don't care. Walk with your shoulders squared and your head high. Show them you don't care even though you do. Eventually, they'll get tired and find something else to talk about.” He said. “You talk as if it's easy.” I told him. “We'll see, let's get going.” He replied, winking.”

A/N: Hey! Yes it's me :) :) :)
I don't know when last I updated and I know no amount of excuses can make up for my misdeed(if you'll call it that)... A lot of people have texted me to be sure I'm alive😂 and yeah, I am... I've been awfully busy and I've not even had time for myself... I also misplaced my manuscript and I had to write this again:(
Enough ranting... For the love of whatever, forgive me *winks*
Do the needful... Xoxo!
