{It's from bad to worse}
🌹CALEB POV🌹
I rush to the doctor as the doctor came out of the ward.
"Doc how is she and my baby?" I ask.
"Oh, you must be her husband?"
"not..."
"Yes, he is. Right bro?" Arthur replies for me. We are not yet married and this isn't the time for silly jokes.
"Yes I'm her husband. How is she and the baby?"
"She and the baby are fine." I heaved a sigh of relief.
"She almost had a miscarriage though but luckily she was rushed here in time. The injury in her chest wasn't properly stitched which might have led to an infection. All the same she's fine."
"Thanks doc. Can I see her now?"
"Not yet. She needs a bit of rest. You can see her later."
"OK, thanks once again."
"Its our duty to save lives. Excuse me Sirs, I need to attend to other patients." I smile as I watch him leave. I'm glad she's ok.
* * *
"This is your captain speaking. You've got eyes on the building?"
"Yeah. Five armed men outside. Copy."
"Take them out."
"Rodger that Sir." A solider at a strategic location loads the sniper rifle and shoots the five men outside.
"Clear." A solider jumps into the building and opens the gates. About fifty soldiers enter the building and surround it.
"Fall in." The captain commanded some of the soldiers to go into the main house.
Two of Collins boys were discussing when they sighted the soilders. A gunshot battle began as some of his boys came to join them in exchanging shots with the soldiers.
The soldiers succeeded in killing the boys as they advanced further into the house.
"I need Collins dead or alive." The captain spoke through coms as the soldiers ransacked the whole house.
"No sign of Collins."
"Fuck. He can't possibly escape. Find him."
The soldiers advanced into the house and found a door that was locked.
"Collins must be in there."
Explosives were detonated at the door as the door blew open.
Collins waited patiently with a shot gun in his hands inside the room waiting for the door to be blown open.
As the door blew open he fired shots at the soldiers killing most of them.
"Shit." He cursed when his bullets finished. He threw the shot gun and brought out two pistols shooting at the soldiers who wasted no time in shooting back.
"Fuck!" He groaned as a bullet hit his stomach.
"Give up Collins. You are completely surrounded." The captain spoke with a mic outside the building.
"Never!" More and more soldiers came into the room and completely surrounded him.
He shot at them but they were quick to release shots at him as he crashed on the ground with bloodstains on his clothes.
