            {It's from bad to worse}

"Caleb are you gonna take care of her surgery?" I asked him as we walked out of her room. Dorothy's story was a sad one all because of that witch Beatrice. Caleb was right though. If she hadn't left, we probably wouldn't have met.

"No." I frown at him.

"Why?"

"Cause my dad says he's gonna take care of it. He still sees her as a daughter and wouldn't want her to remain in that condition."

"I see. Pookie did you really mean what you said back there?"

"Yeah. I'm glad she left Stacy. She just wasn't the right woman for me. Then you came along and changed everything. You changed me Stacy, and I'm happy to have made you my wife." He says with his hands wrapped around my waist.

"Thanks Caleb." I smile as we walk outside the hospital.

"Thank you Stacy for coming into my life." He smiles as he kisses my forehead. I bite my lips and smile softly. Caleb is the sweetest husband a woman can ask for and I'm so happy to be his wife. I'm so glad the storms are over now. From now henceforth, we are gonna live happily without the interference of any body.

"I love you pookie."

"And I love you more. Come on let's head home." He takes my hands in his as we walk to the hospital's parking lot.

He opens the passenger door for me as I get in. He gets into the driver's seat and ignites the engine. We both decided not to go with his driver.

"Before I forget, Stewart dropped by some days back but you were still unconscious."

"Stewart like Lewis? What was he doing in England."

"He said he had to do with a murder case involving Beatrice and then you were in danger so he caught the bad guy."

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" I frown.

"It escaped me Stacy. That was a critical moment for me cause you were still unconscious."

"About the bad guy..."

"He is a wanted criminal and he has killed a lot of people. He has already been sentenced to death and he's waiting for execution. Since you didn't want to file charges against Clarissa, I made sure her name wasn't mentioned. So he carried both their sins and a lot others on his head."

"Woah... I'm glad Lewis came into the picture. I really wish I could talk to him." I smile and Caleb's expression changed.

"You are kidding right?"

"I'm not." I pout.

"You like him?" I smile inwardly knowing Caleb is jealous.

"Yes.." I roll my eyes. He looks at me as his face went pale instantly.

"Don't tell me you are jealous?" I smile.

"What if I am... Don't I have the right to be?"

"No. Because Lewis and I are just friends, but you are my husband." I tell him and he smiles.

"You just wanted to see my jealous side?" He smirks and nodded smiling.

"Caleb, we are almost out of groceries. We should get some from the supermarket."

"Ok then. We will drop by the supermarket.''

I felt soft lips on mine and I smile as I responded to his kisses. My eyes part open as I smile at Caleb's face.

"Good morning." I greet him smiling.

"Morning babe." He smiles at me. I still feel a bit dizzy, pregnancy symptoms I guess.

"Remember we are leaving today and you are still asleep." He says as I sit up.

"Just a bit dizzy but I will be fine."

"Hey I got you something." He smiles as he brought out a tray of food by the side of the bed.

I smile at the food in front of me. It was spiced noodles and a piece if fried eggs by the side. Another plate contained fried chickens while the other contained Samosa. A bottle of water and a glass cup stood at the side. I felt my mouth water at the sight of the food.

"Oh my God... Who made this?" I asked diving my fork into the noodles as I shoved it into my mouth.

"Uhmm... This is delicious."

"I did." He smiled.

"I thought you didn't know how to cook?" I ask taking a bite from the samosa. It tasted good as well.

"Well I don't. Spiced noodles and eggs is literally the only food I know how to cook."

"Really?"

"Yeah. It's Arthur's favorite food and he usually cooks it all the time. So I guess I learned a little."

"Wow. What about the samosa and the fried chicken?"

"Google did the trick." He smiles.

"Thanks pookie. You must have gone through a lot of stress to prepare this for me."

"Anything for my wife." He smiles.

"You should have some."

"Don't worry about me. I already ate mine."

"Uhmm ok. Caleb I will be starting my anti natal in a few days."

"Ok. Finish up your food so we can bath."

"Feed me." I pout and he laughs.

"What's funny?" I frown.

"You need to see your face right now."

"Are you mocking me?" I smack his shoulders.

"No babe. You are really beautiful you know?" He says and I smile.

"Hey have some." He feeds me with the food. 'He's such a caring husband'. I smile at my thoughts.

"Babe the rate at which you are eating, you are gonna get fat." He says as he watch me devour the fourth chicken.

"I should blame you for cooking too much food. Besides, I'm feeding for two." I tell him and continued with my chicken.

When I was done eating, he packed the dishes to the kitchen. Despite the fact that I argued on doing it myself.

He walks into the room and carries me in his arms in a bridal carry into the bathroom. As usual, we bathed together amidst intense kissing and smooching.

After bathing, I put on a black V neck bodysuit top that showed off my cleavages in a responsible way. A blue jeans and black heels. I turned to look at Caleb, he was in a white dress suit and blue jeans. He had a white pair of sneakers on.

"Stacy you look hot in that. Way too hot. I don't want those Bahamian guys to start looking at you. You know?"

"Caleb this is fine."

"No it's not. Your body is for my eyes only."

"Pookie, we are running late and this outfit is perfect." He held my hands and drew me closer to himself making me gasp slightly.

He smiles and slowly takes my lips in his. I kiss him back and wrap my hands around his neck.

"Seeing you in this outfit makes me wanna take you right here." He whispers, kissing my neck.
