Mario and Luigi Get Stuck in Traffic

The Traffic Jam

"What? OH NO NO NO NO NO!" Mario shouted, hitting the horn with each 'no'. Luigi jumped each time the blaring honk of the car horn went off.

"Jeez, Mario. Calm down." Luigi scolded him, gently hitting Mario upside the head.

"NO! THESE PEOPLE NEED TO MOVE!"

"The roads are slippery, there was probably an accident and that's why we're stuck in traffic."

"WE'RE GONNA BE HERE FOREVER!" Mario honked the horn again in anger, causing some other cars to start honking their horns. Luigi covered his ears from all the sound.

Suddenly, traffic started to move forward again, Mario breathed a sigh of relief and calmed down, but he was quickly angry again when he realized that the car only moved a foot forward.

"God fucking dammit!" Mario shouted. Luigi pressed his hands on his ears harder. He didn't like all the loud noises and wanted them to stop. Mario looked over and saw this, realizing his brother was uncomfortable, he sighed and tried his best to calm down so that he wouldn't yell as much.

Mario then changed the music that he had on to a more calming playlist to help calm both him and Luigi down. He looked over to Luigi to see if it was helping, and saw some form of calmness, which was good enough. Mario himself, however, wasn't really calming down as much. Sure, the music and the sheer willpower he's mustering were trying to keep him calm, but the fact that he had to pay attention to the god awful traffic jam and the smoke coming out up from his hands were clearly indicating that he wasn't calm. Unfortunately, he had to suck it up and sit trough this traffic. As the cars once again moved an inch with almost rhythmic movement, Luigi slowly, but surely, fell asleep.
