Bridget's POV
I yawn, still sitting on the couch in our meeting room/living room. Fucking hell, when did this couch get so uncomfortable? We really couldn't have chosen a not shit one? I think to myself, before getting up and leaning against the wall instead, patiently waiting for Ethan to be done.
I hear a phone ring, and check and see if it's mine, hoping it's my girlfriend Rosa; but it's El's.
"Shoot, It's my dad. I told him I'd come home and we'd talk or whatever, but I'm still here. Oh gosh," She gulped, before answering the phone with a quiet "Hey dad...yeah, I know. I'll be home soon. Love you too."
I study her small face, seeing the worry etched in her features before saying "Do you need a lift? I know you came here with Ethan yesterday, and considering he's busy, I can take you home if you want. I was about to head to Rosa's anyway."
She nods appreciatively, and we say goodbye to Gio before heading out to my bike.
"Wait, do you have another helmet Bridget? There are over 5,000 motorcyclist deaths each year-" Elaine starts before I cut her off with a sigh.
"Fucks sake, El. I have an extra for you. It's alright." I hand her a helmet, and then we both climb on and I drive off into the Montreal streets.

LaterI step onto the doorstep of the small house in Ormstown that Rosa lives in. The white door towers over me, with flowers by the windowsill. Even I can admit, it looks... Cozy.
My loud knocks on her door could hopefully be heard throughout the house. I not-so patiently waited for her to open the door, tapping my foot on the hard concrete. I just want to see my girlfriend.
Suddenly, the door swings open and I'm met with Rosa's smiling face.
"Oh! Babe, I didn't think you were coming, I thought it was the mailman or something. Pleasantly surprised. Come on in now," She chimes, ushering me in and I smile.
I take off the plain, black sneakers I was wearing at the entrance before turning around to give Rosa a look. "Love, if you fucking answered my texts you would know that I was coming."
Rosa scrunches up her face, and all of my anger dissolves. She's the one person I could never stay mad at...She keeps me sane.
"I'm sorry, I was painting. Honestly, I'm not even sure where my phone is- oo! I got new earrings B, you have to see them!" Rosa answers, pushing one of her curls out of her face.
I can't help but smile. Jesus Fuck, Bridge. You are so whipped. I think to myself.
I sigh. "Of course, love. Can we just sit down for a moment, though? It's been a rough week, fucking school I tell you. They have the AUDACITY to give me 4 assignments in music. I signed up to play piano not-" I rant before being cut off by her soft laugh that melts me.
This girl is so it for me.
She steps closer and gives me a hug, and I can't help but lean into her warmth, my head resting atop hers. We sway for a moment, before my phone ringing interrupts.
"The fuck is up with my phone interrupting all my shit today?! I'm about to break the damn thing," I groan, before stepping back towards Rosa and bringing her protectively into my embrace, then answering, "You better have a very fucking good reason for calling me." Rosa touches my arm to calm me down, and I smile widely into her hair.
I hear a bang from the other line, and then a hiss. "Shit! Oh thank god you answered Bridge, so basically...I'm bored." Giovanna's voice explains.
I roll my eyes. "You have the worst timing, you utter twat," I say, receiving a look from Rosa. "I'm with Rosa right now, can't you go find Ethan and bug him? Call El, maybe she's done with her dad."
Rosa pulls back from my embrace, before carefully and silently grabbing my arm and dragging me into her art room to show me her painting.
I hear Gio chewing on something, before mumbling something with her mouth full, then trying again. "I would totally do that if I hadn't already tried, dumbass. El didn't answer, and Ethan's busy being Ethan. You're a last resort, and obviously not much fun. Actually fuck this, I'm gonna go read Malfoy fanfic- I uh mean Harry Potter. Definitely not a Malfoy Fanfic."
I hear a beep. Thank god. I turn and see Rosa's painting- holy shit. She's outdone herself this time.
It's a painting of Gio's cat, Bella. I can see every whisker, and her detailed eyes...Fuck, she's good.
"Love, when you told me you were busy painting, I didn't expect a whole arse painting of Bella. We all love that cat, but Jesus fucking christ." I say, still in awe.
She just smiles at me. "So, you like it? It took all day, you know...Oh! There's my phone!" Rosa goes and grabs it, just to find it's dead.
I laugh, and take it to put it on the charger in the corner of the room. "Of course I like it. You're a wonderful artist, and you don't need me to tell you that."
She goes over to pick up my phone, probably to play on it, but she looks at me instead.
"B, you need to stop turning this thing on silent. Giovanna is calling you again," She lectures, before answering the phone. "Hello? Oh, that doesn't sound good. Bridget, take the phone."
I sigh, taking the phone from Rosa and putting it up to my ear. "What the fuck do you want now Gio? I'm with Rosa, can I not have two minutes with my girlfriend?"
She gulps, before saying "We have a problem."
