Double Trouble (ONGOING)

Chapter 6

LUFFYS POV

Sanji and Zoro was fighting at the game that they chose while Ussop and Chopper were very much amazed and delighted to see Franky play. The girls were playing at a claw machine and Brook was assisting them. They were all having a good time and I was just eating the stuffs I bought on the way here. I needed to use the restroom so I told Ussop and the others that I would be gone for awhile. I managed to find the restroom and opened the door and saw two guys trying to have a fight or maybe something else. They stopped and I quietly walked to the vacant stall and used it. It was awkward and the atmosphere shifted at the time when I entered  the restroom. I washed my hands after using the stall and as I was about to leave, the doorway was blocked by the red-haired fella.

"Um excuse me, I need to leave."

"W-well I... The truth I want to-"

"Um hey hi. My name is Trafalgar Law and that guy is Eustass Kid."

"Oh nice to meet you two. My name is Monkey D. Luffy."

I raised my hand for a friendly handshake and Kid was the one that shaked my hand. Law was quite familiar but I can't guarantee if I met him.

"Well, the both of us wanted to be friends with you if you don't mind."

I smiled and nodded. At least I have two new friends so that counts as a progress for today.

"I've got to go now but if you want to come with me and with my friends, I would be happy to keep you two company."

Kid and Law replied with a nod and I left the restroom, leaving the both of them behind.

LAWS POV

The moment Luffy left the restroom I chuckled and Kid was almost having a heart attack from the sudden event. I was surprised by myself too because I was able to talk to Luffy casually as if I knew him. It's maybe because I was too nervous that I managed to do that but it was a great thing. Kid is such a handful and I managed to cover up his clumsiness thanks to his school ID that was sticking out of his pocket.

"You owe me Kid. Better make sure that you have to pay up the next time we meet."

"I wasn't asking for your help."

I grinned and left the restroom while Kid was catching up. I saw the group of friends where Luffy was but I decided to stop and go home. It's enough for the day and it's a lot for me to take in too. Making a friend is not easy as it looks for me plus I'm still teasing Eustass Kid which is kind of entertaining me. I was trying to leave when Kid suddenly called my name and Luffy heard it. He waved at the both of us and all of his friends were looking at our direction. Kid and I didn't smile which was the common thing we usually do. We were like kids who just visited the arcade for the first time because we didn't speak. I don't want to hang out with this bastard because the fact that his following Luffy creeps me out, I only think of him as a creep.

After they finished playing they went home and that leaves the three of us to walk towards the bus stop. I didn't know where Kid and Luffy lived but I am just following them because I just moved here. It is also my first time riding a bus because all my life, I only ride a car. I have a car of my own but I don't want to boast about it so I usually have my driver to send me off to the university.

The bus arrived and they went inside and so I followed from behind. Luffy was sitting near the window and unfortunately, an old lady sat right next to him so that leaves us an empty seat where it's only a seat for  two person. I sat right next to the window and Kid was next to me which pissed me off. He stepped on my shoe and I was trying to be considerate and kind so I stepped on his shoe a little hard.

Luffy was just sitting in front of us and he passed us some chips. He smiled at us and yes it was very satisfying for me to witness his smile which also seems pretty weird on why I should be satisfied. Kid had the same intention as me and I don't know why but he seems to piss me off and I really don't like it when I see his face. The both of us are just the same so there is no point hiding the fact that we hate each other. But as long as he won't interfere our friendship with Luffy, everything would go the way as it is.
