Chapter 21

LUFFYS POV

"Oi Luffy, time to wake up already!" Ace yelled which was the reason to wake me up from my slumber.

My body is very exhausted and well my butt kinda hurts too. My memory at the party seems kinda hazy so I can't quite remember. I forced myself to get out of bed and wore my boxers. I might have took them off maybe because my room is hot again. (I usually sleep naked if its really hot because Ace haven't bought me a new air-conditioner) My legs were wobbly and I can't walk properly. I was about to trip and fall but luckily I was able to hold the door.

" Luffy would you like me to drag you downstairs again!?"

" I'm almost there, just wait for a sec!"

I struggled to walk on the hallway towards the stairs because my lower body actually hurts a lot. I was quite hungry and I needed to eat breakfast quick or else Ace won't spare a single dish.

I finay managed to make my way down the stairs and went to the kitchen where Ace was waiting for me. He was wearing a white apron and held a spatula while leaning on the cupboard. I smiled at him and he responded with a glare. I know that Ace is having a bad mood and I wanna tease him so badly.

I sat on the chair and ate breakfast. As I finished eating without saying anything, I smirked at Ace and he gave me a look of disgust.

"Lemme guess... Marco did something to make you mad, am I right?"

He avoided eye contact and didn't say anything so it might be true that Ace is having a fight with Marco. I really don't know a thing about relationships but it might be pretty bad if I worsen the situation so I didn't tease Ace but instead, I went to the bathroom and took a shower.
Its Saturday and I need to do something fun because its boring. I planned on continuing my exploration in this city and I really need to be familiar with the places in here. After taking a shower, I wore my usual outfit and left the house. I have some pocket money and extra snacks because I get hungry every now and then. While I was walking in our neighborhood, I remembered the cafe where Kid was working and I wanted to hang out with somebody and have something delicious to eat too. There were other desserts available in the cafe that I want to try too tho.

As I entered the cafe, I was surprised to see a Lady with long black hair and a very attractive body. She had this snake kind of fashion but she looks good. All the men inside the cafe were stealing glances from the beautiful lady and I didn't quite focus because I wanted to eat the delicious desserts. Kid isn't here and I assumed that it is not his shift but still, I wanna try the desserts. A young waitress approached me and asked me for my order and so I ordered.
She went back to the counter and I patiently waited for the food to arrive. The beautiful lady was talking to someone in the phone and she wasn't quite happy about it since her tone shifted in a much angrier tone

The young waitress arrived with my order and I thanked her.

"If you're waiting for big bro Kid, he's probably hanging out with his friends on the basketball court." She said with a smile and walked away.

Well that was kinda weird because I didn't ask and why did she know about Kid though? I was quite surprised but I shrugged it off thinking that maybe shes a friend of Kid. After eating all the delicious desserts, I paid at the counter and went out of the Cafe so I can continue my exploration. I was about to cross the pedestrian lane when suddenly a group of men ambushed the beautiful lady from the Cafe. The lady was defenseless and she wasn't able to do anything and so I quickly ran to save the lady. The group of men tried to drag her on an alley and luckily I was able to arrive and kicked one of the men who was holding her arm. I didn't hesitate to punch the guy who eas holding her other arm so she can be free. The group of men were now busy with the two injured men and so I grabbed the hand of the lady so we can escape together. We both ran towards the direction where there were lots of people such as thr park and so we finally stopped.

"Are you alright miss?" I asked

"I-I'm fine. Thank you for saving me back there."

"No problem at all. You were in a dangerous situation so I really need to help you"

She was smiling at me without any warning she hugged me in an instant. She thanked me again and I chuckled as I hugged her back. Maybe it was a traumatizing experience so that is why she hugged me.

She finally stopped hugging me and she apologized for the sudden action.

"M-my name is Boa Hancock and your name is?"

"Luffy. Monkey D. Luffy."

She smiled and looked away and I smiled at her cuz she looked like a little kid who is very shy all of a sudden.
