Hey! So I came up with this idea that basically takes place in a fictional past where there are two popular but very corrupt kingdoms, one in England and the other in Norway. The people living there are always starving and the streets are filthy due to the royals taking all the money for themselves, basically France during the times of the French Revolution.
Tord is the soon to be king of England and Norway due to him being arranged to marry Tamara who is the soon to be queen of both areas as well, Tom is Tamara's younger brother and Tori is Tord's younger sister.
Tamara, Tori, and Tom all know how corrupt the system is, but only Tamara and Tori really care to try to change that. Tom is a bit of a innocent bystander that doesn't take sides, making him not worry too much about anything; But Tom does care deeply for his sister and would do anything she asks of him, since she's his older sister and role model.
Since Tord was raised mostly by their father while his sister was raised by their mother, he gained narcissistic and spoiled tendencies that make him just as corrupt as the other rulers. He's practically a duplicate of his father who is enthralled by power and will do anything to get what they want, this is what worries Tamara since she'll be marrying him and usually kings have more control than the queens in their kingdoms and love life.
Tamara and Tori decided to come up with a plan to take down the kingdoms and free everyone in London and Norway from the royals horrid rule, but they would need Tom to help if it would work.
Tom dressed as Tamara and pretended to be her while Tamara and Tori set off to create a army of rebels to take down the royals in their cities, Tom just basically needed to be his sister until the wedding day where the rebels will attack and save him from the castle when they burn it down afterwards.
Tom of course argues with his sister about it since first he doesn't care too much about the system and second he really doesn't want to pretend to be a female and spend time with the prince of Norway that entire time, but his sister had convinced him with her powers of persuasion her mother taught her and the way she said it'll all be okay in the end.
So basically this book is about Tom pretending to be Tamara and having to constantly be around a dirty and controlling Tord, but then he eventually softens Tord up since his powers of neutral can rub off on to anyone.
