due to amazing genetics, mental illness ran in the family. consistently, every year since the beginning of time, each keates has been depressed.

it got to the point where tim was worried about his father. he thought he might attempt suicide. it had happened before but that was a long time ago. he wanted to believe his father wouldn't attempt but he had to be wise. tim was not going to explain to jack how both his mother and father died to the same thing.

tim was driving jack (yes, he's 17. he's driving monty's car but he does have license) to an art museum when he brought up the topic of getting sebb back.

"hey, jack."

"what?", he looked up from his phone.

"what would you say if sebb came back?"

"seriously? we'd have to kick him out again, duh."

"but dad, dude. you know he misses sebb and he's like really depressed."

"but sebb. we had a mom. remember? a great fucking one. she was going through a hard time but she was a great mom.", jack sighed.

tim thought that was hypocritical coming from jack. if they did have a great mom, that little shit wouldn't know. he was one when it happened. still, he ignored it but stored in it his mind to bring up in an argument later.

"mom made dad happy. mom's gone. now sebb makes dad happy. it doesn't mean dad loves mom any less but he's trying to be happy without her. get it?"

he cringed at the fact he went all disney and sappy on him but he didn't know how else to explain it.

"yeah, i do."

"okay, get out the fucking car." they were at the museum and he tried to change the mood in the car.

"no! we gotta go save dad and get sebb!"

"you're such an idiot.", tim sighed as he drove off.
