While waiting for the tournament to begin, Cell is approached by two youn gJapanese delinquents: spirit detective Yusuke Urameshi and his friend Kazuma Kuwabara. the two talk a big game about how powerful Yusuke is...but are forced to retreat when the capable-of-destroying-planets Cell makes it clear that he's way, way out of their league. Yusuke and Kuwabara leave in a huff, with Yusuke grumbling about what his "middle finger can do." While watching them leave, Cell remarks that since they're kids, they'd have to take the bus home.
