Back at the castle, her six sisters were worried sick for their missing one, though they had been forbidden by the king to go search for her. And on one day, the six of them were in Maridessa's room conversing quietly when an abundance of bubbles rushed in through the walls of the castle. They shaped themselves into the form of Antoinette. "My sisters," she signed, for even in death she could not speak, "Do not despair, for I am in a better place. I have only come in spirit to tell you not to worry about I, for I am no longer here. I will love you all, always." And with that, the bubbles were gone. The room was silent. And when one finally spoke, it was Maridessa. "Come, sisters, we must find the seawizard Alzisorin to tell him the fate of our sister dearest Antoinette." That fateful night, they met in front of the town blacksmith and stole away into the night, fortunate that their father had finally relaxed the guards that normally surrounded them. And when they knocked on Alzisorin's door, he was met with six young faces, each equally different and beautiful, though now all had tears glittering in their eyes. "You are the sisters of Antoinette?" he asked solemnly.

It was Maridessa who answered, as the rest were far too terrified to speak. "Yes. We are Maridessa, Lorafine, Sariana, Trinell, Zellice and Brisand. We are in need of your aid."

Alzisorin silenced her before she could continue. "I will help you, but come hither quietly, we may discuss inside." As soon as everyone had sat down, they all burst into tears. As everyone was too consumed with tears to speak, Sariana signed, "Our sister Antoinette recently passed, of her own accord and choice. We ask of thee this, can thee bring back what we have lost?" Alzisorin was silent.

"It would take a powerful magic to bring her back," said he slowly, "I would need payment from each of thee in order to do it. And as you are so many, the payment could be less. For even as much as your hair would do." The sisters looked amongst themselves and all nodded their agreement. Locks of hair came tumbling down as the sisters passed a pair of shears amongst themselves. When all had been done, a mountain of hair had been collected in the middle. With a snap of his fingers, the mountain came cascading into the cauldron and the chanting began. A beautiful, but terrible voice came drifting out of the cauldron, drowning out that which was Alzisorin's chanting. A strong suctioning drew those in the room towards the cauldron, though Alzisorin remained immovable. The mermaid sisters gripped each other's shoulders tightly, their heads looking shrunken and small without their waves of hair. From somewhere outside the seawizard's home, there came a rushing noise. The mermaid sisters turned their heads in the direction of the sound. And suddenly the cave was filled with hundreds of bubbles that whirled around the cave, spinning faster and faster above the cauldron until they took the form of Antoinette. But she seemed to almost become clearer...the bubbles were rapidly dissolving, she was gaining substance and color and as the song reached its peak, the form of Antoinette was complete. And the song stopped. Antoinette's eyes widened at the sight of her sisters and Alzisorin beofre she fainted into the cauldron.
