I

Every single day, I would try and pinch myself in front of a mirror.

I mean...this can't be happening...right?

I looked around the room quietly and tried to remember my script. Disney offered me a job. Apparently, during one of our school plays, a Disney staff told my parents that I was a good actress and I should try auditioning for simple parts in some Disney shows. Who knows?

With my self-esteem, or lack of, I was nervous to try out. Even if I got a small part, a classmate who says two lines, I was so happy to be included.

"Hi. You must be Y/N."

I nearly dropped my script when Miley Cyrus came up to me to say hi. She was the star of this Disney show, "Hannah Montana" and she was talking to me.

Taking her hand, I smiled nervously, "Hi. Thanks for having me." Did I just seriously say that to the Miley Cyrus?

Miley gave a soft chuckle, "You just looked so nervous that I had to see if you need any help. Is this your first time?"

"Yes." I could feel my face heating up.

"Oh that's okay. You'll do fine. Just remember your lines, pretend no one is watching, and it'll be okay." Miley gave me a reassuring smile. I thanked my stars that we were in between takes and Miley had time to approach me. "Breathe, okay?"

"I'll remember that." I took a deep breath.

Miley watched me and then exclaimed, "Breathe out! Don't forget to breathe out!"

We laughed at that clumsy moment when I completely forgot how to breathe. She was so easy to get along with and even gave me encouraging gestures as we did our scenes. She even gave me a hug when the episode was finished.

Hers was the first photo I have ever had with a celebrity.

"I am so proud of you, dear." My mother said. We were driving home after the filming. "How was it?" She was so happy to watch in the sidelines.

"Well," I started off. The smile I was wearing upon meeting Miley was still on my face. "Miley gave me tips. She is so kind mom! And so sweet!"

"I can tell. That girl was raised so well by her parents." She nodded in approval. Instinctively, she reached out to turn the radio on. This was one of her habits - she would pick me up from school, ask me about my day, and then turn the radio on. We would proceed to sing to whatever is playing.

This is an S.O.S.
Don't wanna second guess
This is the bottom line,
it's true, I gave my all for you
Now my heart's in two
And I can't find the other half
It's like I'm walking on broken glass
Better believe I bled
It's a call I'll never get.

I perked up. "The Jonas Brothers! I totally forgot about them. I need to see them mom. I need a photo with them too."

My mother chuckled as she turned the steering wheel, "Well then, we need to get more auditions and roles then."

That was the point I decided to pursue acting. I needed to see my idols. I needed to meet them. I needed to see if they were as kind as Miley was.

I'll have to work really really hard.
