"Thank you."

The casting director gave me a kind smile, I took a deep breath and left after thanking them. I was auditioning for a role in an upcoming Disney movie. I can actually already audition for other Hollywood films but I wanted to make my way in Disney. I mean... I really wanted to meet my favorite stars.

I took another deep breath. I stepped out of the audition room and was met with other teenagers hopeful for the same role. A small part in me sunk but I had to be hopeful.

My mother said she would wait for me outside the audition room. When I arrived to the seat I left her in, she wasn't there. Maybe she was off looking for interesting stuff. I should go look around too. After all, it was a weekend, we had nowhere to go bur home.

I sent my mother a message just so she won't be too frightened that she couldn't find me.

The studio was a big place but I really wanted to see if I would eventually see some stars.

What if I actually become an actress? I was still currently in school and college was fast approaching, should I give up college for my career? Would I even get a career?

I scolded myself inwardly, I need to look at the bright side of things. I can't get discouraged. Eventhough this is basically my tenth... wait... eleventh... audition? The only big project that came to me was last month's Hannah Montana episode in which I said, "Hey Miley!" and, "Oh my gosh, is that Hannah Montana?"

I was so excited to see myself even in the background when I saw that episode.

"Really Joe? Come on, give me my cola."

I heard a familiar voice. A voice I have only heard from the radio and the tv. I turned my head to a hallway where the voice came from and my heart skipped a beat. Are those...

Joe laughed and moved his hair aside. He had his back to me and his body was concealing who he was talking to but I knew who it was - his curly brown hair was a dead giveaway.

"Sorry bro. Mom's orders. You can't have it."

He and Nick were arguing over a can of Diet Cola. I have no idea what they were doing in this studio but I was just overjoyed that I found them.

"That is supposed to be my first cola for the day." Nick grumbled. It was also commonly known that he liked Diet Cola so it was understandable why he seemed irritated with his big brother.

"No no. I'm your big brother. I am protecting you."

I let out a giggle when I heard Joe say that. They seemed so close, it was cute.

The sound of my laughter made Joe and Nick turn their attention to me, instead of the fizzy drink Joe had in his hand.

"Sorry! Sorry! I didn't mean to interrupt! I just..." I stepped back and could feel my cheeks flare up. Joe seemed amused and Nick, well, he looked glorious. "Sorry. Go on."

Joe smiled, "Hey."

Is Joe Jonas actually talking to me?

"Do you want this?" He held out the can to me, instead of Nick. "Go on. Take it before Nick rips my head off."

I stepped forward and took the can, "Sorry. I didn't mean to bother you guys. I am a fan. I know all of your songs and I sing them all the time. But I'm probably not as good as you guys. You guys are so talented. You guys are so pretty."

And then it occured to me that they were both grinning when I finished.

"Ugh, sorry. I'm nervous." I was cursing myself silently. Did I really call them pretty?

"That was the first time I've been called pretty. I like you." Joe extended his hand to me, "Hi, I'm Joe Jonas."

"I... I know." I took his hand. Gawd, please don't let him notice how cold and clammy my hand is. "I mean, I'm Y/N."

"And this is my brother, Nick." Joe introduced the quiet Jonas behind him. "Be careful, he bites."

"Oh haha, Joe. I'm Nick. I don't usually bite." He shook my hand and then turned into a light shade of pink when he realized what he said, "No. I'm sorry. I don't bite."

Joe laughed at our obvious awkwardness.

"Joe, Nick, I need you here." Their father, Kevin Sr, approached us.

"Oh hey dad. Meet our new friend, Y/N. She called me pretty." Joe looked so proud with my weird compliment. "Nick just told her that he doesn't bite." He started laughing again.

"Hello Mr. Jonas. Sorry. I didn't mean to keep them from you. It was so nice to meet you guys." I looked at Joe and Nick. Even though I just met 2/3 of the Jonas Brothers and totally missed Kevin, I was so happy for this day.

"See you next time, Y/N." Joe told me before following an already retreating Mr. Jonas and Nick. I watched them - Nick was trying to make Joe shut up and Joe was just laughing his head off.

I smiled, wondering how lucky I was. Can I be any luckier?

"Hey Y/N!"

I snapped out from my thoughts and saw Joe jogging towards me. "Let's have a photo!"

"Oh! Yes please!" I can't believe I even forgot to ask them for one!

"You and Nick first, okay?" He instructed, practically guiding me to the space beside quiet Nick. Joe and his dad shared a wide grin when they took our photo.

Joe joined us after and when I watched them go back to where they were supposed to be I realized something.

I forgot to give my cell to them for the photos.

Shit.
