Lalisa Manoban.

It was weird, Jungkook thought. The same eyes, the same expressions, the same smile.

For the entire week since his run in with the girl, she became the only thing and person that was present in his mind. Just the thought of her blurred all of his senses and thoughts. There was just something about her that bothered him in a way, and at first he thinks that it may be because of that same fateful surname, but there was also this faint voice inside his head telling him that it was because of something else.

But the thing is, he couldn't pinpoint exactly what that thing is, and it frustrated him to no end.

Also, just when he thought that it couldn't get any worse, it did. Because the last time Jungkook checked, he didn't get this frustrated about anything before. He never did, at all.

The male sighed and shrunk in his seat.

He was over thinking again.

Wanting to get rid of all those unnecessary thoughts out of his supposed to be focused mind, the young heir shook his head and closed his eyes.

For now it was just him, the lull silence slicing through the air, and the white grand piano that was standing before him.

Jungkook allowed himself to be lost into his own hypnotic distraction called music. His long, dainty fingers made its way towards the smooth black and white keys of the piano and started to play. Jungkook's brows furrowed in concentration as the soft melody of Clair De Lune danced in the air, eventually calming the storm that was previously brewing in both his heart and mind.

It was always like this, just Jungkook and music.

Even though in the eyes of many, he was an arrogant, rich, cocky brat who has the ability to get everything he desires in the snap of one finger, he knew to himself that under all those facades, those numerous masks worn by himself, under all the crap life threw his way, underneath lays a broken boy who only found true solace in music and singing. The only things where he could express himself freely.

As Claude Debussy's famous piece escalates, along with Jungkook's fingers picking up the pace as it runs through the keys, the heir's expression turned to those of a pained one.

Memories of the only woman who genuinely cared for him passing away flashed through his head, then it transitioned to all the years of excruciating pressure and expectations that followed that heartbreaking incident where he had nobody to comfort and support him, where he was all by himself. He knew it wasn't good, reminiscing through those memories will only awaken the chaos that he just calmed down a moment ago, but he couldn't stop, and his hands couldn't either.

What were once soft chords wafting through the air, became distressed presses on the piano keys.

But once the piece descended to a much slower and calmer mood, all those painful flashbacks vanished inside his head and instead, the hazy picture of a young beautiful girl invaded his mind.

She had big hazelnut hues, brown silky hair, and pink, plump lips. The girl inside the hazy memory was sporting a sweet and blinding smile that can easily lighten up any person's darkest day.
