it was about three pm , yin and war were unpacking their luggage in their rooms. they are going to live in two separate rooms , after unpacking they have to dress up and meet yin's mother and jaii. then later they have a meeting with the party decorator and planner.

the party needs to be perfect.

that's what they do every year , whenever it's their parents birthday , they hold a huge party.

jaii's birthday party's are always in Hong Kong , because they invite all his business partners and co-workers so for their convenience , they are in Hong Kong then usually yin and his family will fly there just to attend the party.

but this year their grandma got sick and couldn't travel , she didn't want to miss the party and requested their parents and jaii to hold it in Thailand this year.

their grandma lives in Phuket , so it'll be much easier for her to go to the party.

all the people who flew from Hong Kong are all going to be staying in their hotel , now their hotel is quite full. but the hotel is huge , and has many rooms.

everything about their hotel screams luxury , the hotel is decorated beautifully and the service is top-notch. they want to give their customers the best experience ever.

they have many branches all over Asia , including Vietnam , Korea , Japan and China to name a few.

yin messaged war , asking him whether he's done getting ready. war doesn't really take a long time getting ready or anything , his routine is quite minimalistic. but he is a very sleepy person , if he doesn't get sleep he can't function. he needs to get at least 9 hours of sleep or 2 cups of strong black coffee if he doesn't get it.

war just wore skinny black jeans with a random white t-shirt that he found in his luggage , and some white sneakers to match his shirt.

he replied to yin's message telling him that he is ready , as soon as yin read that he went outside the room waiting for war to come out of his.

their rooms were right next to each other's because they usually go out together and they didn't want their rooms to be far away. yin's parents rooms' were two floors above theirs and jaii and fang's were 5 floors above.

they tried to keep their rooms as close as possible but with the amounts of guests that they had in the hotel right now , it was quite hard.

yin messaged war again , telling him that he is in the hotel corridor right outside both their rooms

in less than two minutes , war went outside his room and saw yin , he was also wearing casual clothes like him.

WAR'S POV
yin has a very good fashion sense , he usually wears really expensive designer clothes , and the reason is that he's rich. but the thing is , even if he wears cheap , bad quality clothes he still somehow pulls it off.

because he's yin anan wong. he's absolutely perfect , he definitely got the genes. his mom is literally the most beautiful woman he's ever seen and his dad is handsome as hell , even his brother is one of the most good looking people i've ever seen.

meanwhile on the other side you have me. i'm not rich , I don't wear clothes that cost more than my apartment rent and at last i'm not good looking. I know my parents try to always tell me that i'm good looking , but they don't need to lie. I admit it , i'm ugly.

yin started walking and I just followed him. on our way , all the staff and everyone would greet him with respect because he's technically also the owner of the hotel.

we were heading to one of the private rooms in the hotel. yin's parents usually have important meetings in those rooms

"are you hungry? we can eat something before going , because I think we'll eat food late" he asked me out of the blue in the elevator.

"i'm not really hungry , are you?"

"of course I am , how are you not? we haven't eaten anything the whole day , we had a flight and now it's already almost four pm."

"I'll just ask mom to serve food first" he told me , and I just nodded my head

we went inside the room , it was huge , it was probably bigger than my parents house. we found yin's parents , jaii and his girlfriend fang sitting on the huge sofa in the room , the room had a tv which was the biggest tv i've ever seen , a long table and about 5 sofa's.

"you guys are finally here!" yin's mom said excitedly

"come sit here!" yin's dad spoke

yin and I sat on one of the sofa's.

"hello auntie , uncle , p'jaii and p'fang" I greeted them one by one

yin also did the same

"hello war , it is so nice to meet you. this is fang , my girlfriend. i've heard a lot about you from mom , she adores you" jaii told me

"of course I do! he's such a sweet boy" auntie said referring to me

"nice to meet you too , thank you so much for inviting me here" I waii'd for like the tenth time

"no problem , you don't need to be so formal with us." jaii smiled

"he's always this formal , he always used to addressed me politely for like two months straight when we first met , until I told him to stop" yin laughed

"well yin , then you should also learn to be like him" uncle said

"dad don't start this now , anyways mom i'm starving can we have food first please?"

"ohhh right , you guys must've not eaten anything i'll just order some"

after few hours

yin and I are finally done , and now are back to our hotel rooms. I was shocked when I saw the pictures the party planner was showing us for ideas. it looked like it was out of a movie , they chose several of them because they had more than 3 events for the party and they decided to have different decorations on each day.

thank god I bought some fancy clothes last minute before coming here otherwise I would have nothing to wear.

but now they need to decide whether they want to have the birthday in one location and change the decorations each day , or do they want to have it in a different location everyday.

they could very casually have it in their hotel but they choose not to , because then the other guests could possibly get disturbed since there are a lot of people attending the parties.

NO ONE'S POV

war plopped down on the bed , he was extremely tired. he looked at the ceiling of his hotel room and wondered what if he wasn't dating yin today? what would he be doing right now? probably fanboying about him and stalking his social media. he doesn't know how he went from admiring and liking yin to now dating yin.

he likes yin a lot , but he still doesn't know if yin likes him romantically. he acts like how a friend would , and at times he's very rude but then apologizes and realizes his mistake and that's why war likes him.

before he could think more , he slept.
