Ooops did I say next week?

Marinette's POV

*1 week later*

Alrighty, it's almost D-day to go to Gotham. Deciding on doing Business Management as well for my major since I already know everything I can about fashion from THE Gabriel Agreste. Of course with Gabriel it came with a price. If I did agree to go under his tutelage I woyld have to create atleast one fashion line that the Gabriel brand will show. Along with it was his recommendation to other celebrities that he worked with, to try MY products. Of course I agreed. Even though he was a douchebag while we were younger, he loosened up a bit after Adrien decided to date Kagami.

"Tikki, you remember our check list? Please announce what we will be taking to the apartment"

"Okay Mari, do we have clean underwear for 2 weeks?"

"Check"

"Clean outfits for 2 weeks?"

"Check"

"Toiletries?"

"appropriate shoes? "

"Sketchbooks and materials?"

"Chargers for your laptop and phone?"

"Seems like we have everything we need for the flight and we already shipped half our stuff 3 days ago. Check Chloe if she already shipped hers too"

"Thanks Tikki. We're gonna have blast at Gotham. Can you bekieve it Tikki? We're finally leaving Paris!" I say with as much excitement I could muster up. I finally made the biggest decision of my life. Right after telling Gabriel Agreste he should suck it up about Adrien having a girlfriend.

I then texted Chloe about shipping a few things and she said Jean Paul had already did it last week. I also decided that Maman and Papa would ship my bike after I leave for the flight, tried to fight them about the cost and they argued that since I don't ask for allowance anymore it would be fine. I just can't wait to be sight seeing Gotham and Metropolis. Maybe I should get a pet. What kind though?

I'll think of it while I'm at the flight. Feeling a bit jittery, I decided to take a walk down to my favorite coffee shop. I called Tikki, wore my leather jacket and took my bag. I told Maman I would be out for a while and turned my bike on.

Café Lumiere

Favorite spot in this city. The outside tables have a great view and the inside looks like a homey living room. They also have great coffee and wonderful serving staff. I ordered just a simple latte and some chocolate chip cookies. Took a seat in my usual spot outside and enjoyed the view. Inspiration instantly hit me and I started to draw.

Not much later the view became uninspiring you guys wanna know why? Cuz of Rossi and her sheep for posse. Seems like Alya took notice that I was sitting here and decided to ruin my mood. Didn't want something to fuck up my day before the move so instantly packed my shit and briskly walked to my bike and put the keys into ignition. Once I was seated was when she actually reached me.

"Hey! YOU HAD A PARTY AND YOU DIDN'T INVITE US?!? WHY?!?! WE HAVE BEEN NOTHING BUT NICE TOO YOU!!" I looked around and saw that this catching people's attention so I quickly decided to end this conversation, if you can actually it that.

"You wanna know why, Cesair? Because of this. You can't just keep you're mouth shut and not cause a fucking scene. I literally just saw you and the next you do is scream at my face. Also, why would I invite you? You're not even my friend anymore. You didn't even know I switched phones and numbers. When was the last time you," I then pointed at them. "All of you, when was the last you properly talked to me without accusing me about something that went wrong TO HER or nothing that was school work related, hmm?" and when they didn't even answer, I put on my put on my helmet and drove away. After that altercation I changed clothes, checked my stuff one last time and went to sleep.

*the next morning*

Woke up at 6:30, took a shower, changed into black skinny ripped jeans, red spaghetti top and my leather jacket. I decided not to put on makeup. Gave Tikki some marshmallows and head down stairs for breakfast and coffee(a must for me).

"Good morning, mon adorable ange"

"Morning Maman" she then gave me a plate with eggs, bacon, croissant and jam.

"Everything already packed?"

"Yeah, and I'll leave the keys on the counter later. Oh, and you can tell Adrien and the others they can use my room for whatever. Decorate them and stuff." I did feel kinda guilty since our usual hang out was at Adrien's, the Couffaine's and the Hotel.

"Alright, I'll let them know, eat up now. Your plane leaves in 2 hours. Don't lose your passport and ID okay?" she then gave me a condescending look.

"Yes Maman, I will. Don't worry, everything's gonna be alright. I think uncle Jagged gave me a high security apartment. It's all good." I tried to reassure her as best as I could. After all it's Gotham.

I arrived at the airport, got through security check and check my luggage in. This is it no turning back. Finally leaving the negativities behind in Paris. I saw Chloe with the rest of the group. We said our farewishes and farewells. Gave a hug and got through the gate. We bought coffee and some food for our flight.

A few moments later our flight got called and we then took of.

*Time skip cuz I'm lazy*

When our plane landed, we got through security and took our stuff we then a bit for Chloe's mom's butler and Penny to come. We decided it be best to get seperate apartments and it would be a good thing since I then to buy a few materials than needed and I need a store room and a different room for clothes making.

Wasn't really hard to spot an uptight butler and somebody with pink hair in the crowd of waitung family. I saw Penny and immediately ran to her side.

"Aunt Penny, I missed you so much. How are you?"

"I missed you as well Mari. Iv'e been good, when you come to the a apartment we have a surprise for you." we got to the parking spot and put my stuff in in the trunk and drove off.

"A surprise? I don't a surprise Aunt Penny, seeing you and Uncle Jagged is enough." I tried to reason her.

"Oh believe me we know but it's a bit of an unexpected surprise to us as well." Weird, Aunt Penny usually never says things like that. Wonder what it is.

We drove for a few more ours since we got stuck in the highway traffic. It took hours for us to reach the apartment where Uncle Jagged would be, I also told them I'd be hoing for a red and black theme rather than my usual soft pink and white. All they said was that it'd be a good blend in with the crowd in Gotham.

"Alright we're here. You are going to be happy when you see the rooms and you are on the higher floors too" Wait, really?

She then gave me the keys to the apartment and we got in the room and to my surprise........
