"I though we agreed you'd give the meeting a try Ki?"

"I-I did but they started going on about god and said I needed to surrender myself unto him. It wasn't helpful it was weird. Like a cult. Cuz apparently we dont know how to sort ourselves out and the only option available according to the speaker there was that we need to give up and accept that we're weak and pray to god."

"Okay I swear I didn't know they were going to be like that otherwise I wouldn't have sent you-!"

"I know I don't care." I hug dad1 and he hugs me back way more tightly. "Oreki Oreki!!"

"NoT rIgHt NoW tErU!!" My voice cracks as I start to get upset and Kuroo smiles as he takes Teru from dad2 and feeds him in his bedroom to give us a moment alone. "We're sorry we've been neglecting you..."

"Y-you're both busy it's fine-"

"No it's not. We're going fishing tonight-"

"FISHING? WE'RE GOING FISHING?! WHERE?! WHAT SPOT?! WhErE?" He chuckles and crosses his arms in front of his chest with a smile. "Wherever you want."

"Can we go to that peir thingy and sit on the wall again?!"

"Of course."

"Wait won't it be too cold for Teru though?"

"No he has clothes." They both chuckle and I pout. "But what if you like drop in the water or something?"

"WE WON'T DROP HIM IN THE WATER OREKI!"

"OKAY I WAS JUST MAKING SURE." I huff and open the medicine cupboard before taking out some paracetamol. "It's not worth it is it?" I stay quiet at dad2's words and he strokes my hair gently as I take the pain killers.

He's right though...

I don't know why I even thought it would help me...

Speaking to my family helps me and I already know this so why did I think it was a good idea?

I sigh and grab a glass of water as I turn back around. "When are we leaving?"

"Whenever you want."

"Can we go now? That way we have enough time to catch something and then cook it later for dinner."

"Of course. Now go get ready." Insmile a tiny bit as I walk off into my bedroom and see Kuroo now in my room with Teru sitting up on my bed and giggling at Kuroo as he also sits on my bed. "What you doin'?"

"Entertaining him." I chuckle and hug his back as he continues making funny faces. "Kuroo?"

"Mm?"

"..."

"Ki?"

"Uh- You were a bit too excited last time we made love." I use the pg term in front of the child and his eyes widen at the whisper before I start getting changed. "I was too excited?"

"Mm..."

"What do you mean?"

"I... I dont want to talk about it in front of Teru." I take off my cardigan. "Oh. Yeah." I picks Teru up and I think I avoided the conversation I just started as he walks out before he walks back in and locks the door behind him. "What do you mean I was too excited?"
