"Theodora."

Giggles started to fill up the House of Lamentation as three girls returned from their shopping spree. Their bags were filled with snacks, clothes that they tried on for hours at the shops downtown and cosmetics. Also, Theo got some DVDs, she was taking interest in Devildom's cinematography. She wanted to know if the films that she picked were actually enjoyable,  Levi recommended her a few.

"I can't wait to take a shower." Agatha spoke, they were walking up the stairs.

"I can't wait to sleep." Georgeanne yawned.

"I can't wait to watch all of theeese!" Theo raised her voice in a cheerful tone. She was just like a bunny, jumping around.

Agatha's eyes went wide, they were close to their bedrooms, but they could never know if something was excepting them. Or someone. "Theo! We have to keep it down. Some of them might be sleeping already."

"Ah, sorry! I just got too excited." She brushed some hair away from her face.

Georgeanne just smiled when she heard them talk. She knew what Agatha was thinking about, but she decided to stay silent. Her friend didn't need to get into more trouble, even though in the Human Realm they didn't have to deal with such people. Demons, to be more precise. They all headed to their rooms, each one of them having their own thoughts deeply hovering inside their heads.

Agatha's bedroom was quiet. Her bookshelf was waiting peacefully for her to pick up a piece of literature before going to sleep. Yet, she decided to clean herself up first. She had a long day.

The bathroom was simple, but classy. Pink tiles made it look like a cherry blossom paradise. She took off her uniform and went straight under a waterfall of thoughts, drops of hot water covering her body.

"Mm.. Maybe I should talk to him."

On the other hand, Theo's room was messy. She threw a lot of stuff around in the morning, before she went to RAD: socks on her desk, hair ties on the blue rug and pieces of paper all spread on the floor. She decided to empty her bags and backpack on her bed, like the preexisting mess wasn't already a pain in the ass. That's when she remembered. Between colourful DVDs and inviting snacks, a purple book stared back at her. She grabbed it again, trying to keep her breathing steady.

What if she picked the wrong book? What if the answer won't satisfy her curious mind? What if Solomon tricked her? Maybe he was an actual demon that would trap her soul inside the heavy covers. Truth to be told, there was one way to find out the truth.

She grabbed a DVD at random. It was one of Levi's suggestions, 'Drowning at midnight'. She scrunched her nose, maybe it was a bad horror movie or maybe it was actually something good. She just needed some background noise. After starting the movie, she changed into her pyjamas while listening.

"You shouldn't get close to the lake, Myriam. You have no idea what kind of thing awaits there." An old woman warned a younger one.

Theo got under the covers, book on her lap and snacks by her side. She opened a bag of chips.

"If the thing's monstrosity doesn't match my own, I have no reason to be afraid, miss Well." Myriam grabbed her laundry basket.

Miss Well's eyes looked straight at Myriam. "How so? You are just a young girl, you didn't even kill a fly in your whole life."

Myriam went to the door, trying to ignore the other woman. Yet, she turned on her heels. "Do you think you would actually know if I killed any at all?" Her glare was colder than ice.
