As Y/N was walking around the airport, she spotted her older brother waiting for her. As soon as their eyes met a small smile formed on his lips. As she walked up to him he opened his arms and pulled her into an embrace. Y/N gladly accepted the hug and wrapped her arms around his lower back. They both stood there for a thew minutes, just enjoying each other's company. Y/N pulled back, "Wow Onii-chan, you've sure gotten taller." She said as they started walking towards the train.
Last time she had seen her brother they were about the same length (you know, girls get their growth spurt first) so it was slightly shocking seeing her brother almost half a head taller then her, "I could say the same for you, Y/N." Neither Y/N or her brother were extremely chatty, so a comfortable silence fell upon the two of them. Not like she minded, she liked the quiet. Y/N got on the train and sat down, Haru taking the seat next to her. She looked out the window, seeing the starry night sky above her.
The flight had been long and Y/N was exhausted. She rested her head on her brother's shoulder, "Wake me when we get home." Y/N told him. She felt him nod. She closed her eyes and gave into the tiredness, falling into a dreamless sleep.
Time Skip (next morning)
Y/N woke up to the sound of splashing and a voice she didn't recognise, "So why did you want me to pick up a female uniform again?" The unfamiliar voice asked, "Y/N moved back and she's going to have to start school." Haru responded. A gasp was heard, "Y/N's back? No kidding?" The voice started to sound more familiar, did she know him? She stood up with the blanket wrapped around her, walking out the room and into the living room.
There she saw the olive brown haired boy. He was incredibly tall and handsome, Y/N could feel her cheeks turning pink. She wasn't one for showing being extremely shy, but this boy she didn't think she even knew, had gotten her to blush. He turned around and she immediately recognised his emerald green eyes, "Makoto?" She asked, having to look up a bit (My dude be tall).
His eyes shot wide open, "Like I've told you before, I don't make jokes." Haru said as he cooked some mackerel. Makoto immediately pulled Y/N into a hug, "You really are back." He said, smiling widely. Y/N let her arms hang loosely around his waist. Makoto pulled back, "I'm sorry that was sudden." He said with a bright red face. Y/N giggled slightly, she remembered him always getting so easily flustered.
They both stood beside Haru as he made himself breakfast, talking about the years they've been apart from each other. Later Y/N tried on her school uniformb (Haru already enrolled Y/N if you were wondering). They walked to school and Makoto asked why Haru wasn't at school yesterday.
He used the excuse that he had to pick Y/N up from the airport, "I thought her plane landed at 8 pm." He remarked, scratching his chin, "I was early." He replied in an emotionless tone. Makoto and Y/N laughed slightly. They made it to school, separating for the time being. Y/N walked to her class and the teacher asked her to introduce herself. She did so and a burgundy haired girl showed her around.
She later learnt her name was Gou. When the tour was over the bell rang for lunch, "Hey, if you want you can sit with me and my friends." Gou offered, "Thanks for the offer, but I'm sitting with my older brother." Y/N said and started walking to the roof, "Hey, what's your last name again?" Gou asked, "Nanase." Y/N replied before starting to climb the stairs leading to the roof. She saw Haru and Makoto talking to a blond, "Speak of the devil." Makoto said softly.
The strawberry blond turned around and anyone could see the pure excitement in his eyes, "Y/N-chan!" He said and pounced on Y/N, gripping her tightly. He lifted her up in the air and spun her around. Y/N was shocked seeing how strong the small boy was, but nonetheless knew exactly who he was, "It's good to see you too, Nagisa." Y/N told him, patting him on the back. He gasped and set her down, "You do remember me!" He exclaimed happily. They all walked up to the roof.
As Nagisa kept asking Haru why he doesn't do competitive swimming anymore, Y/N caught Makoto staring at her. She sent him a small smile, he blushed and turned away. Eventually they all had to start going back to their classes. As they were all walking back, Nagisa made a remark about their old swim school, "Yeah I heard their tearing the place down. I thought we could go and visit it for old time's sake." He said jumping down the stairs, "We have to go dig it up, don't we?" Makoto asked,
"You guys go have fun, count me out." Haru said, looking off into the distance. Nagisa started begging him to come with them, "I think you should do it just to humour him." Makoto said, "Give me one good reason to come!" Haru said and crossed his arms, "Well we'd have access to a indoor pool." Makoto started. It obviously caught Haru's attention, "I'm still not convinced." He said, being extremely stubborn. Y/N scratched her chin, "I'd be there in a swimsuit." She said. She knew he was an overprotective brother, "Fine, I'll go." He said. They all cheered.
