''Who do you have a crush on Remus?'' Lily whispered as we patrolled the corridor, arm in arm. Lily was a prefect like me. We was having little conversations to pass the time. And I couldn't ask for anyone better. I could tell her anything. She knew most of my life and was the first person I came out too.

''It doesn't matter, I don't expect to be loved. Knowing what I am ... I couldn't ping that on anyone'' I sighed taking a deep breath and looking to the floor to avoid giving Lily eye contact.

''Remus John Lupin! If they can't accept all of you then they don't deserve someone as charming as you.'' Lily reassured, careful to not be heard by any hidden lurkers. We didn't say what I was. But we both knew what I was on about

I chuckled, grateful to have met someone as amazing as her. '' I do like this one guy ... but his defiantly straight.''

''Love potion.'' Lily replied. Making me look up on the floor alarmed trying to find the words to reply with.

''Only joking Remus, but its always a option. Anyway, who is this guy?'' Lily questioned.

''I can't tell you that, its a secrete. I don't want to ruin anything'' I replied defenselessly.

''Oh please give me hints Remus. what is he like?'' Lily pleaded urgently.

''Um ... his like the total opposite then me. Opposites attract I guess,, anyway lily who's your type'' I replied trying to change the subject

''Uh i'm not sure. Probably someone whos brainy, tall and always challenges me in trivia'' Lily said smiling.

''If only I was straight'' I grinned making Lily nudge my shoulder.

''well you do hit all the boxes, but not you. I want to be able to win the trivia. Assert my dominance on them.''Lily gushed turning red in the face.

''Okay Evans'' I cackled.

''Remus, about the guy you like ... please invite him to slughorns feast. I'll be the best wing-woman in Hogwarts''

''I, I'm not sure Lily. I'll ask him but I don't know if he would be available. Can I ask him with you. I need the support'' I looked at Lily green eyes. Hoping for a a yes.

''Of course you can. That be brilliant want to tell me who it is now?''

''You'll see later come on'' We started running through the corridors back to the Gryffindor common room. Lily was smiling. Glad to finally help me with one of my so many problems.
