'Essay'

Araminta's pov

We were now all seated in the great hall watching all the first year being sorted, i sat in between marlene and gideon while lily is sitting accross from me both marauders in her right and left,
We all waited until all the first years were sorted then we ate our dinner while chatting along laughing occasionally at lily's replies to potter

I was digging into my dessert when gideon pinched my leg making me flinch

"Ow,gid what was that for!"i yelled at him,he made eye contach at me then at the slytherin table making no noise to raise no suspicion

I quickly looked at the table and saw that both crabbe and goyle were now opening the wrapper of my proud,delicious tongue swelling candies,us three were trying so hard to keep up with the conversation while still looking at both crabbe and goyle

At first they looked jolly as hell eating those little lollies they 'magically found' when suddenly their faces turned a shade of red and spitted the candies while trying to yell something out but they obviously couldn't seeing their tongue are swelling bigger and bigger each second making their friends confused and others just laughed or snickered

But now it looks like they both caught the attention of their neighboring table ravenclaw's attention,they all started laughing their asses off which caught the attention of hufflepuff and gryffindor's which almost immediately laughed at crabbe and goyle especially since almost no one beside slytherin's liked them

Seeing now that the whole school's eyes were on crabbe and goyle the teachers are now looking at them too,and madam pomfrey seeing the scene that's happening infront of her eyes,she rushed the boys into the infirmary as quick as possible

3rd person pov

"Oh my god that was hilarious i think the anonymous prankster are stepping up their game now aren't they"i heard potter said while laughing to his group of friends

"Careful james we don't want to lose the title of best school pranksters to them do we" sirius replied while wiping his tears,both ariana and the prewett twins scoffed hearing him

"I don't know padfoot,that was bloody brilliant if you ask me"remus replied still laughing at the image of crabbe and goyle,the gryffindor table was laughing and bickering about crabbe and goyle araminta was laughing wholeheartedly at her friends and classmates but what she didn't realize was a certain slytherin was looking at her intensely while holding the candy wrapper solving the riddle he had thought minutes ago

Even when dinner was over her whole friends was still talking about crabbe and goyle

After entering the common room the boys and the girls seperated to their own rooms for a goodnight sleep but before going inside araminta deveroux sent a cheeky smile towards her favorite twins,They smiled to her and gave her a wink then entering the boys dorm room

Time Skip into the morning when they're all chatting and eating breakfast

Araminta's pov

"Minty how many page did you write on your potions essay?"marlene asked

"Potions essay?,don't play with me mar we just started school today"i asked confused

"But don't you remember Professor slughorn said those who failed the test last year must write an essay about 3 important potion ingredients"marlene stated

"Bloody hell" i said completely forgot

"Holy shit" , "oh fuck" and a "what will i do" was heard

I glanced and saw the three marauder boys were looking confused as ever

"Oh no moony why didn't you tell us we had homework,you love homeworks don't you?"Potter said

"Didn't you heard her,she said 'those who FAILED the test' i you are a proper friend you would know that i've never failed a test prongsie"said remus while chuckling

"Fair point" said black rather gloomy

I raised from my seat grabbed a toast and said "i'll go to class and find something to write for that bloody essay,I'll see you girls later" i said to both of my friends and they muttered a quick "bye" and "see you" to me

I walked silently while munching my toast to the classroom

When a certain greasy hair slytheirn stopped me
