Patry sighed softly as he pulled his cloak farther up on his head as to hide his pointed ears. The elf then shook his head before stepping into the theater.

"The Wizard King said there was a ticket here for me." He said softly. The clerk nodded as he handed him two strips of paper. "I-I'm sorry. I believe there's only supposed to be one." Patry spoke.

"No." A gentle voice said behind him. Patry turned to see the one human who trusted him most even after everything. Vice-captain of Golden Dawn, [Y/N] [L/N]. The only child of the noble [L/N] family.

"There's supposed to be two." She smiled at him as she grabbed a ticket. "I said I would take you to a play, correct?" The elf nodded as she pushed the fabric of his cloak back to reveal his ears.

"Come on then." [Y/N] said as they began to head upstairs to their seats. "[Y/N]?!" A bewildered voice gasped. The girl looked up to see her mother a few steps away from them.

"Hello Mother." She spoke as Patry whimpered softly squeezing her hand. "What are you doing here?! And with that thing?!" Her mother said. "Mother!" [Y/N] yelled as the elf pulled his hand away and ran back outside.

"Why? Why would you say something like that about him?" The girl said seething. "He's an elf!" The elder noble yelled. [Y/N] scoffed as she smiled weakly. "Don't ever speak to him like that again." She said before running after the boy.

It took some time before she found him in an abandoned building practicing his magic. "Hey? Are you okay?" She said softly. The elf ignored her as he whipped his light whip again. Sighing gently, the girl smiled.

[Y/N] sang as she activated her own magic causing particles of stardust to float around the two. With the flick of her wrist the dust twirled about before spelling out their names.

Patry scoffed as he smiled sadly at the girl.

And there are doors that we can't walk through

You're going to wake up and see that it was hopeless after all

Waving his hand in the air Party sent a light sword through the stardust. This action caused their names to disintegrate and faded away.

[Y/N] smiled as she pulled the boy up beside her on her broom and began to fly. The elf returned it as they began singing together as one.

How do we rewrite the stars?

Patry gave a weak smile as they landed back on the floor. "Why?" He asked the girl as he curled his arms around her. [Y/N] smirked as she rested her arms on his shoulders. "Because I love you, Patry. My family can say whatever the hell they want, but at the end of the day it's my life. And I want to spend it with you. Always."

She spoke before she pulled him into a kiss. The elf froze for a moment before returning it with the same fiery passion as [Y/N]. After what felt like an eternity, the two parted for air.

"I love you too, [Y/N]. Thank you for accept me despite my faults." Patry said breathlessly. [Y/N] only smiled back at him.

But that one smile spoke a thousand words. Letting him know that no matter what happens, she would always be there for him when he needed her most.
