The next morning you woke up to music playing outside of the house and you opened the door and saw Marceline playing her guitar you smiled at how beautiful it sounded, she didn't notice you standing there and she started singing you hummed along to yourself and after a while she noticed you standing there with your eyes closed humming and she smirked and flew up and vanished in the darkness of the cave and you opened your eyes noticing the music had stopped you looked around confused at how she was just standing there and the next second she was gone you walked somewhat out of the door and you heard a loud screech and jumped when Marceline had scared you from the roof of her house and you looked at her and she looked at you then after a couple seconds you both started laughing and she flew down from her roof top and stood in front of you she had her guitar on her back "you sounded amazing" you commented and she smiled and put her hands on her hips "thanks, i know i do" she acted like she was all that then started laughing as you did also. Marceline doesn't know why you were out in the open like a lost puppy but she could tell that you didn't want to talk about it, she knew you were upset and she wanted to take your mind off it "hey lets do something today" you looked at her "like what?" she remembered you standing by the door while she was playing music and singing so she pulled her guitar in front of her "i can teach you how to play if you want?" you smiled and nodded "yeah that sounds great!" you said and giggled a little "okay cool" she handed it to you and you held it "alright, first just do whatever comes to your mind" she smiled "while you do that i'm gonna get us something to drink and snack on" she walked inside and you thought about the first thing that came to your mind, it was Finn you looked down at the guitar sadly the closed your eyes and let out a deep breath and went to a quiet place, your fingers started moving on their own and the guitar, or you, started to play a beautifully sad song all you did was think about Finn and that horrible day when everything happened to you tears started forming in your eyes and you would have started crying if Marceline didn't come back "wow, that was some deep stuff" she commented and had two red apples in one arm and held a lemonade in her left hand and another in her right "oh, sorry i don't know what happened, i just closed my eyes and my fingers did my own thing" she smiled a little and put everything down "well i guess you don't need my help" she laughed a little and you smile "nah you can help me whenever" you handed her her guitar she looked away "what's up?" she looked at you "you said i could help you whenever,so whats going on? you look like somethings hurting you" you looked down and walked inside of her house and sat on the couch and looked down at your hands "It's a relationship problem" you sighed trying to fight back tears and she sat by you "oh, wait so you were out there alone in a dangerous world alone? how could your so called 'boyfriend' do that?" you knew tears were going to fall but you heard a very quick knock at the door and you both looked at the door and your tears had gone away and the knocking kept happening every time it quickened and Marceline stood and went to the door and opened it you looked at your hands while she was talking to someone at the door 'He didn't know i was out in the open, i don't even think he saw me leave.' you thought to yourself you were soon snapped out of your thoughts when you heard someone calling your name "y/n?" you knew who's voice that was. it never left your mind your eyes widened a bit and your looked in the direction of the door and saw none other than Finn and Jake standing there. "F-Finn..." you stood up quickly and tears formed in your eyes "what are you doing here?" you backed away a little "i came looking for you, I've been looking everywhere!" you looked away "why?" he took notice that you were upset and he walked in "look Jake told me everything that happened, i know it looked like she was kissing me and it looked wrong, but if you listen to me i-" he got cut off by you interrupting him "Finn...how do you expect me to listen it looked like what it looked like, and Jake told me you used to like the princess" he looked at Jake then at you "no, after you left i freaked out, this is what happened"
(FLASHBACK!!!)
Finn's p.o.v (after you ran off)~
my eyes widened when i saw the princess looking behind me and i turned to see jake looking in the direction that y/n ran to "dude, what's this?!" jake freaked out and yelled at me i looked at the princess "why did you do that?! it was on purpose wasn't it?! you knew she was standing there!" i yelled at the princess "i have no idea what your talking about Finn, i was just giving my handsome savior a kiss" she smiled and stood up and so did i "now lets finish the tour" she tried to hug me but i pushed away and knocked some stuff on the picnic blanket down "no princess! why would you do this?! after so long of me liking you and trying to get over the fact that it wont work between us, and i find someone who makes me happy you do this?! she probably thinks i'm cheating on her now!" i grabbed my stuff and looked at Jake and glanced back at PB from over my shoulder "it's not right for you to do that" i started walked and Jake grabbed y/n's things and we started going to the tree house thinking she would be there. After looking through the whole tree house y/n was nowhere to be found and the sun was setting so that meant it was gonna get dark in a little which is making me scared and worried about her "Dude she's a tough girl she can handle it out there" Jake said with a hint of care in his voice i looked out the window and grabbed my sword and opened the door "i know she is, but i still need to make sure she's okay" i walked out and Jake stayed at the tree house. I walked around the land of ooo for so long i went back home when the sun started coming up, i barely slept and i was worried about her Jake made breakfast but i didn't eat and after me and him went out to look for her.
(Back to present time!)
your p.o.v!
you listened to the whole story Finn told you and smiled a little and he hugged you tightly and you hugged him back and some tears fell "i am so sorry y/n i would never do anything like that to you" he pulled away and looked at you in the eyes and that's when you did the first thing your mind told you to your cupped both of his cheeks and pulled him in quickly without warning him and kissed him and he smiled in the kiss and kissed you back and you blushed deeply and wrapped your arms around his neck after a couple seconds he pulled away and rested his forehead on yours and blushed darkly "y-y/n...." he stopped and you looked in his eyes "yeah?" you replied "i-i love you" you blushed and smiled "i love you to Finn" you blushed and heard an aww from Jake and a bleh from Marceline "i'm not into that into that mushy stuff" you all laughed and you and Finn walked to the door "aww so your not gonna spend time with me anymore?" Marceline said "Don't worry i'll always come back and hang out with you when i can" you smiled and hugged her and she hugged you back. You three went home and on the way you were listening to some of Jake's stories when you felt Finn intertwine his fingers with yours, you smiled and laughed at some jokes Jake said and you all got back to the tree house and Finn sat on the couch and started a game on BMO while Jake was making lunch and you walked over to the couch and sat next to Finn, he passed you a controller and you two started playing and you couldn't really see BMO's screen and Finn took notice and picked you up and sat you on his lap and laughed while you blushed at his action but he kept playing the game making you loose "hey you cheated!" you yelled and he laughed more "no i didn't!" "yes you did! watch i'll beat you this time!" you two laughed and played again and you beat him constantly and in the end he sighed and crossed his arms with you laying in his lap and you giggled then pulled his face down gently and kissed him he blushed and you pulled away knowing he couldn't keep a straight face when you did something like that, he smiled and chuckled and Jake called you two to sit and eat and you guy's went to the table, while eating Jake's tasty spaghetti he told more stories. You knew after everything Finn said, nothing could get in between you two.
