One day Jake,Finn, and you were playing video games and you heard a knock at the door Finn answered it and got a letter that was an invitation to a masquerade ball "Your all cordially invited to princess bubblegum's masquerade ball at 7:00 at the candy kingdom make sure no one knows what your wearing and keep it to your self." Finn read aloud he sighed " i kinda don't wanna do anything tonight..." you giggled to yourself "come on Finn it sounds fun!" Jake nodded at what you said and Finn smiled "okay fine" you clapped your hands and smiled "yay! okay i'm gonna go out and try to find something to wear! bye!" you waved and walked out.

Later that night~
You walked into the candy kingdoms ball room and saw everyone in fantastic gowns and suits you walked in and caught a couple eyes staring at you while walking to an empty table "i wonder if Finns here" you blushed imagining what he was wearing and thinking how cute he looked you snapped out of your day dream when someone came up to you "Hello" you looked in the direction that the voice was coming from "huh?" you saw a gentlemen standing there looking at you as he stuck out his hand "care to dance?" you being as sweet as you are you agreed to one dance and went to the middle of the room with him where everyone else was and started dancing you danced for a little and when the song finished you went to sit back down while fixing your mask you felt a tap on your shoulder and saw another guy and he asked to dance you guys danced, hung out, walked around the castle and talked for a while then you two went to dance again and it was 10:00 pm when you two were closer than ever when the song ended you two looked at each other in the eyes and he leaned down closer to your face and next thing you know is you felt his gentle lips on yours and it stayed that way for a couple of seconds and princess bubblegum came on the mic and said it was time to reveal who you were you two looked at each other and smiled and counted to three "one...two..three" you both took off your masks and your eyes widened and your face grew extremely red when you saw the person you hung out,talked,danced, and kissed was actually..."Finn...?" his eyes widened "y/n?" his face grew red like yours and you ran off not knowing what to do and because that was the first thing you thought of "y/n!" he yelled but you ran off. You ended up walking towards a puddle and you sat buy it and took off your shoes and stuck your feet in while sighing remembering the kiss Finn gave you "this is gonna be so weird when we get home" you mumbled to yourself you heard a branch snap behind you "who's there?!" you stood up and, Finn walked out from the trees you looked away "y.n! your okay!" he ran up to you and hugged you you blushed and hugged him back "yeah i'm fine" you nodded he looked at you "look about earlier i..just..-" he was cut off by you kissing him out of nowhere and his eyes widened. You pulled away as he looked at you and you smiled at him sweetly "it felt like it was just in the moment?" he nodded and rubbed the back of his head "yea" you laughed "that's how i felt right now, lets just say it was just a one time thing?" you smiled and he nodded but in your mind you wanted it to be more than a one time thing you wanted Finn to be more than a friend and you wanted to be with him so much but you thought he didn't like you the same way and he just wanted to be friends, after all that kiss was just in the moment so your a little confused but you kept seeing the kiss in your mind over and over again. After that you and Finn walked back to the tree house and walked in through the door "How was the ball?" Jake asked you and Finn looked at each other while blushing "nothing much" You said while sitting on the couch and looking at your hands "wanna watch a movie?" Jake asked "sure" Finn said you nodded and went to the bathroom and changed into shorts and a f/c tank-top and sat on the couch and Finn changed into his normal everyday clothes and sat next to you while Jake was making popcorn in the kitchen when you felt a warm soft hand grab yours and you looked and saw Finn blushing and holding your hand and all you could do was smile and Jake came back but didn't notice and sat down while BMO played a movie you laid your head on Finn's shoulder and watched the movie you felt like this was just the begging to something amazing.
