Someone's screaming.

I looked outside the window and noticed people started their run.

What happened? My mind swirled in confusion and lost.

And a voice yelled in the distance,

“Tsunami is coming!”

-

Rhea had been fetched by her cousin from school. Although, she haven't been a highschool student. Her parents loved her so much to even let her cousin to fetch her. They don't have a car that time. So, both of them decided to ride a public jeepney.

However, It was a long-traffic.

Until, a shout was heard outside the jeepney.

Run!”

Their perplexed faces was thrown at him, and had no idea what he was saying.

Another came, and more another.
People chanting the same words that echoed Rhea's mind.

Tsunami..”

Tsunami..

A Tsunami is heading towards us! Rhea's mind came into realization.

She turned around and looked over her cousin and pleaded him with her eyes, saying we have to run than being to stuck with this vehicle. Forget the money, it's our life is important!

He paused, and looked over the driver while other passengers scurried away from the jeep. Thinking if this a joke or not.

It's like he was having second thoughts if he would leave the money or not cause it was only thing left by her father. It's something not to waste it.

Compared the situation right now, it's their life have more value than it.

He grabbed my hand and dragged me into to the run, while Rhea went looked behind anxiously with back and forth. Seeing many people running and panicked was something not to be joke around.

She timidly watched over her back again, wondering why she didn't see a glimpse of water yet.

Her cousin glanced behind the distance and continued to run without stopping.

Rhea's feet were getting weary and tired. Her forehead were wet with perspiration. She don't think she could hold any longer.

They'd reached the boundary of Lopez and the public of school on the next stop. There are so many people strolling over the streets. Many wondered why the tsunami wasn't coming yet. It could be a false news.

Rhea was growing tired and can't longer moved on. She wondered why her cousins didn't carry her with this stupid small legs she has with hers. But forget it, another jeep came and we decided to ride it.

Rhea has few allowance left so, it was a relief they could pay the jeep's fee. In that moment, her family seems poor.

Hearing the gossips from the other people. They didn't get the real news yet. A part of them, know it could be a false news.

Finally, Both of them had arrived home. It was a false news. People overreacted. There's no such thing as tsunami since it was spread on the news. Rhea stared at the television about the news of people running on the streets panickedly. In relief, she was glad her family and her was safe.

She wondered, would she ever see a tsunami soon? No, I don't think she want to see it. Seeing how people get panic was something intriguing to resist.
