It's cold..

Everything is cold..

It doesn't matter..

I want to cherish this moment.

-

Many years back then, Little her Rhea and her mom went to Mall of Asia together with her friends. It was so huge. Aya, her friend was there too.

She was little like her..

Little Rhea squinted her eyes around her until her sight sets on a huge glassy wall. She saw many children were there. A white platform is where they had stepped on with their skating boots. Some were struggling and some are not.

Ever since Rhea stepped on ice, she'd learned the name skating. It was a fun experience and intriguing at the same time. While she was with Ara, everytime she get falls down on the ice. Her bum hurts so bad.

After few minutes, they decided to take a break. Rhea felt hungry after skating. She was struggling to take off her ties from ice-skating boots. The place was crowded. Aya, forgotten about her and left. She was alone now.

Still, trying to untie the boots.

She bit her lips hardly, why is it hard to take them off? Those ties were tangled in mess and no matter how her small hands tried to get them off, but no to avail.

Dont cry..Dont cry..You're a big girl now. You'll find them soon enough when you finish this first.

She noticed there's more people coming to this place. Until, a few voices appeared next to her. She heard them but she couldn't understand what they were saying.

It's like Chinese. Mandarin.

A man around 20s noticed her and helped her out about untangling her ties of her skating boots.

Finally!

She remembers how to to say thank you in Chinese. So, she blurted it out after the man helped her.

Xie xie!” she spoke to him enthusiastically.

The man startled and his friends heard it and looked at her in awe.

Never in their life heard a kid from this country would say like this.

The man before me was finished untangling her boots and he patted her head saying something.

This time, she couldn't understand it. So, she kept nodding her little head as if she'd understand them.

After that, she waved at them to say goodbye and bumped to her mom. She was happy she wasn't lost and found them. Their faces laced with worry and concern. She found out they'd been looking for her.

Rhea thinks she was taking so much time for trying to untangling her boots. She blames her small hands for it. But she'll never forget what she'd said to those strangers. They seemed so kind to her. She wondered if she'll able to meet them someday.
