It was the center of the maze , and it was beautiful ! there were decorations everywhere , it was perfectly round , and there were tons of people standing there, chatting and just socializing , and grandpa just chatting with everyone , he had a lot of friends , mostly because of his warm , adventurous , free-spirit , and stern personality . There was just some bhel puri , french fries , and some coffee and lemonade for eating and drinking . Ria dived right in , Rita who will also usually dive right in to , but for some reason she didn't
" Ummmm hello ....Earth to Rita ? " said Ria
" Huh ? " said Rita
" Who's that new guy ? " asked Rita
" Oh him ? he is just the new guy , ya know who just moved in here ? .... how come you dont know about it ?"
" HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO ? " said Rita in anger
" Woah woah chill and dont shout at me , your the one who is absent minded ! , we are at his welcoming party of course !
" Do you know his name by any chance ? " asked Rita
" Umm .... no , and WHY are you asking these questions anyway ? " said Ria
" I don't know i just -"
" I THINK I KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON !!!! " said Ria amazed
"Y-You do-o ? " said Rita slightly scared
"YEP!!!! YOUUUUUUUUUUU like him don't you !!" said Ria happily
" Pfffffffft no .... " said Rita
" Yeeahh you do .... and to think that you will never have a crush despite your personality!!
" WHAAT DID YOU SAY !!?!? and also thank you " said Rita
suddenly a voice boomed out of no where , and it almost sounded like it was grandpa but wasn't
" huh pa is doing the introduction hmmmm .... but i thought grandpa always does it " said Rita
" Today i am going to introduce the newest members of our society - the Vixons !
" They kept their surnames after a species fox ? .... weird " said Rita
" Its female right ? " asked Ria
" Yep " said Rita , munching on some bhel puri
" HEY ?!? " shouted Ria as someone bumped into her , spilling almost all of her favourite snacks
" Its okay , come on Ria we'll just go and get another one " said Rita
" NO!! " said Ria tugging Rita along to go and see who that girl was
" HEY how can you jus-" Ria just stopped dead in her tracks
It was Rebecca their arch - nemesis , she said in proud , bold and sly voice
" Oh , well hello , what do we have here ? the twins eh ? oh, and , well as to why MY family came here because The Vixens are a family friend , not that you have any "
"Whatever, now What is sooooo great about the vixens anyway ? " asked Rita
"Well , for starters , their popular , did you know that Robertini Vixen starred in a movie called ' Doomsday' ?"
" UUhhhh yeah we do , everyone does , not that your some special kind around here you know just another dumbass roaming and i swear to god our brother is smarter that you " said Ria super annoyed
" WHAT ?!? HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO ME ?! " screamed Rebecca
" Woah chill , come let's get another plate of bhel puri " said Rita who dragged her , otherwise Ria would've fought her until death
" Ria you can't just burst out like that ! " said Rita
" OH YEAH , well then what would you do if some one talks shit about your favourite stuff.... like say harry potter or GRAVITY FALLS HMMMMMMM ??"
" you've got a point , but still atleast not in public , i would atleast plot and plan my revenge for them later you know "
" Fine ... fine .... whatever " said Ria
Suddenly Rita realized something
" Ria , why does grandpa look like that ?"
" Yeah , he doesn't look to happy "
" LOOK ! " Rita whispered to Ria
" Mr.Vixen is talking to grandpa ! "
" Look he is walking away and ........ leaving grandpa doing a death glare behind his back ? "
" Why tho ?" asked Rita
They went up to grandpa and asked
" Hey grandpa ! .... everything alright ? " asked Ria
" Ohhhh .... everything is just fine ! now run along , your usually hogging the food stalls ? hehe!!
" Right ! " said Ria
He left but something slid out of his pocket , something like an old black and white photo
" Ummmm Rita what is this ?" asked Ria
" Hey .... thats looks like grandpa ... and is that .... who is that ? " said Rita '
Along many his of his adventures , grandpa used to have a sidekick but he never mentioned his name exept for his intial , Mr . V
They looked even more closely at it and said
" Hey Ria , look at his badge "
Ria sneered close
".........Mr . Roberts ? that doesn't sound like the name he used to tell us "
Just then an announcement came and this time a lady said it
" Now everyone please welcome The Vixens ! , Mr.Roberts , do you want to do the honours ?
" Yes , thank you very much ! "
And then he gave a speech which obvisously no one was interested
" OMG Ria , did you just hear what he said ? "
"Yeah , it sounded like ..."
in a whispering tone they said " MR. ROBERTS !!"
" I can't believe it ! " said Rita
Just then Grandpa came on stage and said " Yes thank you Roberts , now let the feast begin !... although most of the people have almost finished it !" people laughed
Just then grandpa came down and so did the Vixens to mingle
" Does this mean that ...."
" Mr . Roberts is grandpa's arch-nemesis ? "
