Deuce watched as the lavender haired boy had a coughing fit, worried for the other he tried to put a hand on Maruyake's shoulder.
"Are you alrig-"
The blue haired boy was cut off as the ground shook.
"Take that!"
He saw a blast of blue magic as the boy heard a loud roar coming from the faceless monster.
"Any time now, Ruya! Deuce!" He heard Ace yell.
"But-!" He tried to explain himself, tried to tell them that they need to buy more time.
"Now's your chance." The blue haired boy turned to see Maruyake standing straight, looking at him with expectant eyes.
"Are you sure you're alright?"
Maruyake waved him off. "There is no need for you to worry about me, now hurry. We don't exactly have the time to converse."
Hesitantly, he nodded and turned away to focus on his magic. "Calm down... Take aim..."
"Hurry up!" Ace yelled as he dodged a set of strange liquid that was sent shooting at him.
Blue magic started to glow from his magic pen as Deuce focused on his spell.
"The biggest, heaviest... thing I know..." he whisper to himself as his magic slowly materialized a top of the faceless beast. The blue haired boy then came out of his spot and pointed his magic pen skyward.
"Come forth, cauldron!" Deuce yelled as cauldrons came falling down on the monster. It roared when the heavy set of objects left the thing immobilize.
"Got it! Nice work, everyone!" Grim exclaimed as he held his paws high in the air. He then looked at the pile of cauldrons and laughed. "Hey, look! The monster looks flat as a pancake just like Ace was earlier!"
The ginger let out a groan. "You don't need to bring that up again! Jeez, today just isn't my day."

Maruyake watched as the boys celebrated their little victory.
It worked out for the better...
I'm glad.
He let out a sigh of relief and smiled, but that was short lived as he felt a burning pain in his chest.
We better finish this quickly...
The lavender haired boy thought to himself.
He was about to say something.
Tell the boys that it was time to go...
Tell them that they should not waste any more time...
Not to let this opportunity slip...
But he couldn't...
Maruyake held a hand to his chest, almost ruining the fabric of the uniform as he clenched his fist.
It hurts...
He could feel the sweat dripping from his forehead as his breathing became uneven.
No...
Not yet...
Ignore the pain...
