1- Snow Day-Special-1

Special Chapter

"I'm so booooored" I groaned in frustration, there was nothing to do besides reading books, and helping Sebastian clean the manor. I lay on a couch in the lounging room, my legs dangled off the sides while I stared up at the blank ceiling above me.

Sighing, I sat up and rested my chin on the headrest of the couch. My eyes wandered to the large window in front of me, it was still snowing, I could go out there, but there wouldn't really be anything to do without someone accompanying me.  

Grumbling to myself, I grudgingly get up from the couch and walk out from the lounge room. Frames of paintings lined the walls of the corridor I walked down, many of them had Ciel's family, some had still life such as floral or other daily life items.

After a while of strolling around, I Stood in the middle of the manor, pondering what I should do to ease my boredom. 

"I should see what Sebastians doing I guess" I muttered to myself. I don't feel like working or cleaning today, not that I have to anyway. 

After looking around the manor for a bit, I still couldn't find Sebastian. No matter where I looked, he wasn't there. He should be doing his daily duties around this time...but he's not? 

I sighed in frustration, turning around, I decided to head upstairs. Maybe I should see if he's in Ciels Quarters. I stepped up the stairs and admired the interior of the mansion, even though I've seen this place a hundred times, it still makes me look around in awe.

Making it to the white double doors, I knock twice. 

"Come in" Ciel's voice called from the inside. 

I opened the door and closed it behind me, lo and behold, Sebastian was standing right next to Ciel. I walked over to the two, thinking of what to say.

"So... " I stood in place awkwardly, Ciel's eye was fixated on my figure. 

"Is there something you need?" Ciel asked curtly.

"uh, are you busy?" I asked with uncertainty. He shook his head.

"to be frank, today hasn't been very busy, so no I'm not busy. Why do you ask?" His reply had perplexed me, not very busy? I'm guessing he had nothing to do as well...

"Well I've been thinking, I never go anywhere, even when you guys go out for errands you leave me at the manor...so is it okay if maybe we could go out today?" At this point, I'm begging to leave the mansion. It's amazing to be in my favorite anime, but it can get stale staying in one place for weeks at a time. 

Ciel leaned back in his chair and shrugged. "I don't see why not, its good to go now since it stopped snowing a little while ago. Sebastian go prepare a carriage for us, we will be heading into town." He ordered.

I smiled widely, "Thank you! I'll go get ready now!" I turned and dashed out the door. sprinting down to my room. Making it to my door, I walk inside and looked inside my wardrobe. 

Picking out a (F/C) dress I put on a blouse and corset, I learned how to tie the laces by myself with the help of Sebastian. Its a bit tricky at first, but it's almost like tying your shoes over and over again, a bit repetitive. 

After I finished tying the corset, I put on the dress and put on black heeled shoes right after. Its most likely going to be cold outside so I put on a fur coat to keep myself warm. Looking in the mirror, I nodded in approval and walked out of the room down to the entrance of the manor. Sebastian and Ciel stood there waiting for me, 

"Ready? Let's go then" Ciel wore a large top hat with his normal strolling clothes and a black cane. Sebastian wore a black overcoat with his suit underneath it, they both looked decently dressed up, even for a small stroll in town...

We exited the manor and walked towards the carriage that awaited us. The snow under my feet crunched as I got closer to it. Sebastian opened the carriage door for Ciel, after he got in Sebastian held out a gloved hand and helped me inside, I gave him a small smile and sat down.

During the carriage ride, (which Sebastian was driving) Ciel and I sat across from each other, my eyes flickered to him momentarily before looking away.

"Why don't you tell me about your world?" Ciel suggested. I looked back at him and raised an eyebrow. 

"My world...? What do you want to know about it?" 

He shrugged, "Your life there I suppose"

"Well... my life living there is...normal, I live by myself in an apartment and work a small cafe job" 

"You have a job?" Ciel looked a bit bewildered, and so did I when he asked that. Do I have a job? What kind of question is tha-Oh

"Ah, well you see in my world its normal for women to work, it is also normal for women to go to school and have a full education." It's not normal for women in this era to be working in large quantities, and many women also don't go to school. They usually stay at home and take care of their children or clean.

"I see... how far has technology progressed?" He asked, he seemed very interested in my world, which isn't that odd considering he knows nothing about it.

"A lot actually, it would be hard to explain some things... but we travel differently and more efficiently now. We use 'cars', it's like a carriage but- without the horses."

"so- how does it move? " 

I let out a hefty sigh, "This is probably going to take a while to explain, how about I tell you another time? I think we're here anyway..." I peered out the small window, the carriage had indeed come to a halt and Sebastian was coming towards the door. He opened it and greeted me with a smile.

"How was the ride?" Sebastian held a hand to me. I graciously took it and stepped out of the carriage. 

"It was nice" I replied with a faint smile on my face, my answer was short but only because Ciel and I had talked the entire time, I don't really mind considering I'd rather not have an awkward silence plague the entire ride.

Ciel soon stepped out as well and Sebastian closed the carriage door quietly behind us. The icy air bit at my exposed neck and hands as we walked down the streets of London. It wasn't as big as I thought it would be but it was pretty damn beautiful, especially since it was winter. 

We passed many shops, clothing stores, dry goods, tobacco stores, ...

"Oh!" I stopped in front of a small toy shop, in the showcase window was a teal plush bunny with the tag, 'Bitter Bunny'.

Sebastian and Ciel hearing my voice, stopped beside me and looked to see what caught my attention. In front of us was not only a toy shop but the Funtom Co. Toy shop.

"You own this right?" My eyes were fixated on the inside of the shop, Ciel walked up closer to me,

"I do, do you wish to go inside?" I looked down at him with pleading eyes and nodded. 

"Alright then" we all turned to head inside and Sebastian held the door for us, our eyes locked for a moment, his pupils narrowed down to slits for a split second before turning back to normal. I ignored it and headed inside.

---hello! this is a special chapter! Usually, these will have the word 'special' in the chapter title. A special chapter can be holidays, in between manga events/arcs, and/or events for the reader or other characters, It can go on for 2-3 chapters :) I think it would be really fun if I included these! So Let me know what you all think!---
