There's a lot of things that happened in the whole time when Kazuma and the girls start living in that mansion. Atsuya and Chris are having some problem or "something" with each other until Chris keep following him all the time. But there is something that will give them a very hard trouble.
"Destroyer alert! Destroyer alert! The mobile fortress, Destroyer, is currently approaching the city! All citizens, please evacuate at once! All adventurers equip yourself and went to the adventurer's guild immediately!"
At Kazuma's Party Mansion...
Both Aqua and Megumin already packed their stuff so they can leave from the city and away from the Destroyer.
Aqua: Kazuma! We're running away! We're running far away!
Kazuma: Huh?
Megumin: The mobile fortress, Destroyer... Fighting that thing is being reckless, at best.
Aqua: *nod twice* Yeah, yeah.
Kazuma: I keep asking, what's a Destroyer?!
Darkness: An ancient weapon that went on rampage. They say that where it pass through, not even grass remains.
Kazuma: *gulp* Hey, everyone. We're going to the guild.
Aqua: Why?
Kazuma: Like hell we're gonna let the house we finally earned, after so much work, be destroyed just like that!
At the Guild Hall...
All adventurers, except for Atsuya, have gathered in the guild hall to talk about the Destroyer.
Luna: All of you are this city's last bastion of hope. We humbly request your assistance.
One of staff step forward and hold up an orb on top of a pillow.
"At present, the mobile fortress, Destroyer... is on a direct path our way, invading from the northwest. One hour remains until its arrived."
They look at the orb and it shows the an eagle was shot by laser before the connection disappear.
"Um... The Destroyer was created by an ancient magical kingdom, correct? Did the people who created it prepare any countermeasures?"
Luna: They were the first one who perish in the Destroyer's rampage.
Kazuma(In mind): This is an impossible game. Such a strong foe isn't supposed to come to a city of novice adventurers!
"If only Mitsurugi-san were here..."
"I wonder where he went."
Chris: You all should run away immediately.
Darkness: No, they can't. The townpeople all will lost their homes.
Chris: You as stubborn as always, Darkness. *tug Kazuma's short cloak* Hey, you. Got any bright ideas?
Kazuma: That's asking a lot... Oh! *turn to Aqua* Aqua, couldn't you break its barrier?
Aqua: Hmm... I have no way to how unless I try.
Luna: Could you break the Destroyer's barrier?!
Kazuma: N-No, I just thought maybe--
Luna: At least, couldn't you at least try it?
Kazuma: S-Sure...
Luna: Aside from that, we'll need a heavy-hitting magic...
"We have that. If we need firepower, we have her, don't we? The crazy one."
It makes the others realise about Megumin and her powerful explosion magic.
