Damn, Killua sure takes his time to get ready, Gon thought to himself as he took out his phone and checked his messages.

Kurapika? Where have I heard that name before?

Oh yeah!!! She- no. He was the guy at the front desk yesterday when I first got here!!
Gon quickly added him back and saw there was a message from him.

K: Hey Gon! It's Kurapika, from yesterday at the front desk.

G: Oh, hey!

K: Sorry if this is sudden, I grabbed your number from your paperwork yestalerday after you left, and thought I would let you settle in a bit before I texted you.😋

G: Oh, yeah no that's fine. Also sorry again for the misunderstanding yesterday😂

K: No, don't worry about that, I told you, it's a common misconception. It happens all the time. But that's besides the point, how are you settling in at your new apartment?

G: It's a little rough, but I'll get used to it.

K: Okay, then what about your roommate? I've heard some bad stories about him before.

G: Oh, yeah... Him... He's not the first though we did get off to a sort of bad start. But he apologized and we are about to go out shopping and maybe get some Coffee, or Boba or something.

K: Wait, he apologized to you?!?! He's never done that before. And after the first time he does something, people usually ask for a new roommate or just leave and find a new building. And now your going out with him?!?

G: Okay, I did think about leaving at first, but I thought I would at least try to stay for a week before I make any rash decisions. I just don't want to got off on the wrong foot at a new building.

K: Yeah, okay, that's a good way to think, but you were also unlucky enough to get Killua as tour roommate. Just be careful okay. I don't want you to get hurt because of someone like him.

G: I promise you, I'm gonna be fine, but right now, I have to get going, I can hear my roommate walking down the hall. I will talk to you later.

K: Okay bye 👋 have a good time! Text me if you need anything.

G: yeah I will, bye!

I heard footsteps coming down the hall and I quickly shifted to pretend I'm asleep as he walks out.

"Gon?" I heard my roommate say as I try to contain my laughter. I hear his feet shift across the room headed toward the door.
"I'm gonna leave without you, I know your not asleep." he said unlocking the door and opening it.
I quickly opened my eyes "wait no don't le-" I was cut off by the stunning beauty of the boy before me, all styled up.
"what?" he said putting his hands in his pockets.
