A couple of days has passed since Emilia and I had an argument in the courtyard, and were sent to Professor Ahmed's office. I studied in the library when I saw someone walk past me, it was Darius, and he had a sad look on his face when he looked at me, which read "I know what you did to my girlfriend". I felt bad, but also glad that Emilia got what was coming to her, I wasn't a normal girl, who liked to dress up in dresses or wear makeup, I liked to fight.
"Hey Darius," I said, standing from the seat I was sitting in, it was by the large fire in the library, and it was always hot there, but I didn't mind as I like heat. I remember when I first find the spot, it was first year, and I was looking for a book on how to make a potion or something like that and I stumbled upon this spot. It was cozy and warm, and it reminded me of home, so it sort of became my special place.
"Oh, hey Reya," Darius said, his eyes fell to the floor, not literally otherwise I would have screamed in shock, but his attention was drawn to something on my shoes. "What's that on your shoes?" he asked.
I looked down to where Darius was looking and almost jumped in fright. Somehow a big red spider had managed to find its way onto my school shoes and had started laying small circular eggs there. I panicked and quickly kicked the spider off, terrified. I don't like spiders, let me make that clear, ever since I was bitten by one when I was very young, I've always been afraid of them. The spider ran along the floor and made its way to my friend's table. Louis got up, but too slowly, and the spider jumped up onto his leg, ran up to his chest and it must have bitten him, for Louis squealed out in pain and collapsed to the floor.
I rushed over, so did everyone else, and I started to cry. Louis was my friend, I didn't want him to die. Louis didn't move, and by the time the school nurse made her way to him, she told me the bad news, that if he wasn't treated soon, he'd die!
