Drizzt Do'urden- Rain's Hand, 19th (Turdas)

Drizzt hummed a randoms bard song as he walked through the snow. All of the cities in Skyrim seemed to be cold.
And his dreams had only gotten stranger, changing from the girls voice just saying his name to laughing, or even crying. The voice struck a feeling deep within him, he felt the need to make sure the girl was laughing, or at least not crying. He wanted her happy.
He never wanted anyone upset, ever. But he wanted to protect this voice. It scared him what he was willing to do to protect this girl, and he didn't even know her yet. And Mielikki hadn't said anything to him in days, no matter how much he asked for her to.
The walk from Windhelm was a long one, trekking through snow and caves. He wouldn't have had such issues with the journey if he knew who he was meant to find.
Gwen had gone to the astral to rest, and Drizzt wished he could have followed her.
He wasn't physically tired, he just wanted a place to stop and think about all that was going on.
He was snapped from his thoughts when a caravan stopped next to him, his hands subconsciously reached for his weapons.
"Traveller, would you like a moment to rest your legs?" He heard a silvery voice ask.
The person poked their head out the curtains, and Drizzt was taken aback by their appearance. They looked exactly like cats, house cats, just overgrown on two legs and with voices.
He stammered and they laughed "Ah, Vansi sees now. You have not seen a Khajit before." She spoke in third person "We have seen dark elves before. Though you seem...different"
Drizzt sighed. When he got to Skyrim, he'd learned of another kind of Dark Elf called 'Dunmer' who'd came from Morrowind. Even they judged based on his skin, for theirs was a gray color while his was that of ebony.
"I'm..I'm not Dunmer."
Vansi nodded and hummed "Ah! You are the Ranger of the North! Vansi has heard tales of you and your skill." She disappeared for a moment and the door of the Caravan soon opened
"Come, is there somewhere you are going?"
He nodded "Bleak Falls Barrow. Do you know-
"You go to the Barrows! Yes, yes. We shall pass them soon. Come. We insist."
He jumped at her loud tone and slowly climbed into the cart, which took off seconds after he sat down.
"Vansi has heard many tales of you. Though she cannot remember your name"
Drizzt chuckled, he fount the way they spoke odd, and he wondered if it was something all of their kind did or if Vansi was the only one. "Drizzt Do'urden" he answered.
"Yes, yes. The drow ranger with eyes the color of wisterias. You are the subject of many conversations in taverns"
He raised his eyebrows at her, not exactly knowing what to say.
Vansi spoke again "Aye, it's true you're quite stoic then? Vansi imagined so"
He laughed "I don't know about stoic. Quiet, maybe." He looked out the window "Do you know anything about this land? Who settled it?"
Vansi purred before talking "Vansi doesn't know much..She's from Elsweyr." She paused again, looking at him "But she does know that this land was settled by Ysgramor and his companions during the Merethic era. T'was called Mereath at first due to the amount of Mer."
Drizzt sucked his teeth, could Vansi know anything about dragons? The creatures kept finding their way into his life. Not real ones, of course. But legends and books, even statues about them kept finding his path.
"Ah, the dragon wars. That's why you keep seeing and hearing about them" She said. His eyes widened
"What..?" He muttered. He thought that, didn't he?
"Yes, you did. Vansi is a seer. She didn't mean to intrude, but you think quite a lot for someone so young"
Drizzt rubbed his hand down his face "Oh. Well, do you know...what were the dragon wars?"
Vansi adjusted her necklace "It was a long and horrible war against the nords and dragons. Eventually, the nords won. And the dragons went in to hiding." Drizzt nodded in understanding and asked another question
"And the war going on now?"
"The Skyrim Civil War" She started "Ulfric Stormcloak started it. The ones on his side want independence from the Cyrodillian empire. While the others think that they should stay with him. Ulfric killed the Imperial high king, thus starting the war."
He blinked at her, that was probably why she let him in, she most likely could tell he wasn't dangerous
"Oh? Vansi thinks you're quite dangerous"
He huffed. Mind reading was quite an annoyance
"Isn't it? Many people think so. Anyway, Vansi does think you're dangerous. Anyone who knows you and doesn't is not the brightest."
He looked away, trying to block her from his mind to have a normal conversation
She laughed and continued speaking "You're skilled, terrifyingly so. You are also brave, and fiercely loyal. Anyone you care about will not be harmed, you make sure of that"
"Then what makes me dangerous?"
"What I just said. You've lost so many people you care about that you would be almost anything to make sure it doesn't happen again. Your father, then Mooshi, and more recently your wife."
She smiled at him causing her canines to show, although Drizzt didn't feel threatened "So tell Vansi, ranger of the north, what would you do to protect her?"
Drizzt pulled back "Pardon?"
Vansi chuckled "Your voice. Her name is Rowen Moonwalker. She's the girl you're meant to find"
"What? Can you tell me what happens with her?"
She shook her head "Vansi cannot."
Drizzt put his elbows on his knees, staring into her eyes "You're a seer!"
She shook her head again "Vansi knows what happens. Vansi just cannot tell you. If Vansi did, it would no longer be so, therefore making her no longer a seer" The khajit leaned closer to him
"But she can tell you this...
...The girl in the barrows is your destiny"
He gasped, that's exactly what Mielikki had told him.
"You do know! Please, you must tell me"
Vansi knows not of which you speak" she responded, acting as if none of their conversation had happened
"What!?" He exclaimed. She looked out the window "Oh! There it is! Bleak Falls Barrow! There it is, traveller." She opened the door again "Go, go."
He was pushed off the caravan, and quickly turned back around, groaning in frustration. It was gone, as if it'd never been there in the first place.
"Damn it!"
He put his hands on his hips, looking around the area he'd been left it.
His eyes struggled to find coherent shapes in the snow and light reflecting off of it. Drizzt soon fount himself wishing it was dark so he could see properly.
Although, the blizzard didn't effect his sharp hearing, and he didn't struggle to hear the sound of a bandit speaking to someone.
Gwen appeared at his side and they ran off to the voice. He had drawn his weapons, expecting a fight, but he was only there to see the final seconds of one
A girl, who hardly made it to the bandits shoulders, stabbed her sword through his chest.
Not any girl, it was the girl he was looking for, he knew it was. He didn't know how he knew, but he did.
He watched in shock as she knelt in the snow for a moment, seemingly to catch her breath. His heart almost stopped in his chest as she stood back up, and her eyes met his. His eyes widened as he took in her appearance, dark hair and bi-colored eyes resting on a freckled face with soft features and a slightly crooked nose.
She looked him up and down, like she was accessing him. Nodding at him, she went to turn and go into the barrows.
Panicked, he grabbed her arm. She turned and opened her mouth to speak, he beat her to it
"Rowen!"
She ripped her arm from his grasp and pointed at him.
"Do you know me?"
