(a/n I know this one kinda sucks but I had the urge to write it so I did)

Jughead Jones was always used to the cold; it didn’t matter if it was socially or just really. Like when it was winter and his dad was too drunk to fix the heating. It was just always cold, that is until he met her, and when I say her I mean Betty Cooper, the literal embodiment of warmth and all things summer. Her beautiful blonde hair was like the golden sun, her green eyes were like the leaves with light shining through in the nearby forest he was so keen on going to, other than Pop’s, her lips were the color of fresh watermelon, and her personality was even brighter. He was just cold, the opposite of the blonde girl, his dark hair was like the night sky, he never liked it because it was hard to brush, his eyes were a icy blue, he never liked his eyes because he thought it was too common, and he had freckles in different places on his skin, he never liked them either because they were ‘imperfections’. He was just so different from her, but that didn’t stop the crush that was getting larger everyday, it was scary.

It was Archie that introduced the two, and since that day the ‘cold’ boy was becoming warmer, that was a rarity. It made his mother a little proud of her son but that didn’t change her new idea, leaving the boys and taking Jellybean with her, that broke the little boy. He was suddenly cold again, he was drifting from his friends, until Highschool hit. Betty’s crush transferred to the flannel wearing, sarcastic, loner, weirdo, Jughead Jones. How did this happen? Well neither knew, it scared both of them, his crush grew, and here's just began and was growing by the minute. It wasn’t until their sophomore year did they both realize “HOLY SHIT I LOVE HIM/HER”. They finally told each other that after a large makeout in a closet, at Thornhill, in a game of 7 minutes of heaven. Yeah, yeah, it was extremely cliche to the point that it was sickening, but hey! They didn’t care, the next day Jughead Jones was no longer cold, alone, and scared, for once in his very fucked up life he was happier than all the times before in his life, happier than when he first met her. This happiness made it warm, it wasn’t cold any more.
