"Wait, the new guy's noticed by THE Hyung Suk? I'm so jealous~" Whispered a student. "Yo Ji Ho! How are your wounds?" I say, kneeling to his height. I rummage through my skirt pocket, finding a band-aid stashed along with my tissues.
"A-Ah, I iced my cheek, so it should be--" My fingers reached his face, cupping the cut part and applying the band-aid onto it. "There, so that no germs could infect it." I stand back up, grinning, unaware of the glower that both Jin Sung and Jae Yeol were sending to Ji Ho.
"You really should sit, come, come." I usher him towards where Hyung Suk was sitting, him handing me my lunch tray. "Hyung Suk~!" Another shrill voice approaches the table, gripping onto Hyung Suk's arm for dear life.
"Oh, good afternoon, Ha Neul. How did you do on the test?" I give a gentle smile to the girl, her eyes widening at my tone. "I-I did fine.. Or whatever." She shrugs, a little rose color tinting her cheeks.
"What about you?" She asks, shifting her weight to my direction, hands still on Hyung Suk (who was busy trying to drink soup using his left hand). "... Heart of gold." My ears perk up at this. Looking at the back of us, our table watches the girls sitting behind us gossip.
"Yeah! He's the one who took down Jin Sung!" Pointing towards Jin Sung's vicinity, my eyes trail to his face, and I could SWEAR I could see a vein about to pop.
"... He's so damn pretty. Not as good-looking as me though." Another man says, eyes shaded by the sunglasses. What the fu-- "We can't see your face, however--" The man in sunglasses smirked at Jin Sung, voice ringing throughout the cafeteria.
"I heard you lost to that pretty boy. Even dragging around these ugly mutts." Sneering at Jin Sung's lackeys, I could help but giggle at the jab. "I may have lost to Hyung Suk, but.."
"I would easily take you."
Sunglasses (My new nickname for him) frowned, as menacingly as he could with his eyes covered, mind you, and said "You wanna die?" Spitting at the floor for some emphasis. Before my eyes could register, A fist threw itself forward, barely an inch away from sunglass boy's face.
Damn, Hyung Suk sure must be strong if he alone could be someone as fast as Jin Sung, I think to myself, look up at the boy who's attention was at the fight. "Hyung Suk~ Try this!" Ha Neul perks up, vying for the attention that Hyung Suk was currently giving in my way.
"What? A fight? Between Jin Ho Bin and Lee Jin Sung?" That was a familiar voice. Oh! It's Eun Tae! With a smile, I greet the architecture dept. man with a small wave. His ears grew red, nudging the boy beside him, who's eyes almost popped out of his head.
"Barista boy!" I blurted out loud, the volume of my voice garnering the attention of many cafeteria onlookers, who looked at me with curious gazes. My cheeks burned red in embarrassment. Nice going, [Your Name], you absolute dumbass.
Seemingly playing my game, the big-eared student gave a grin, raising his brow. "I never knew you attended here, ristretto girl." Eun Tae looks at him in astonishment. "You know her, Bum Jae?" He whispered out.
