Dev had been pacing around the garden for nobody knows how long when Neha saw him. She went towards him to ask what was bothering him so much. Dev did want a genuine suggestion on moving things forward with Sonakshi and also turning down Natasha in a peaceful way. Therefore, he said Neha that his friend got stuck in a problem that had two ways ahead one that led him to personal happiness and satisfaction, and other that helped him grow professionally and multiply his business. Neha smiled and knew what he meant. She said "Bhai I think it's time you should go ahead with Sonakshi. You've achieved much more for your age and now its time to think about your personal happiness."

Dev was shocked at hearing this. "How did you know?" he asked. Neha replied that things were very much evident because ever since Sona arrived at this home and his life, he has become a livelier person. He smiled more often, took care of his health, and has also reduced his coffee intake. He suddenly realized he didn't need sleeping pills anymore. Neha and Dev spent almost an hour talking about stuff. He felt even strongly as he knew both Neha and his Ma liked Sonakshi. As Dev lay in bed, he was determined that tomorrow he would go see Ms. Bose, no Dr. Bose, err no "his Sonakshi."

Dev came to the office a little earlier than anyone else, finding it almost empty. He straight away went to Sonakshi's cabin and sat down thinking about ways to propose her. She was hopeless romantic when it came to this stuff. He knew it as she was explaining it to him on the day of her accident that she was waiting for her Mr.Right. 

It was almost 9 when the door to Sonakshi's cabin swung open, and what Dev saw next had his jaw dropped. A beautiful Sonakshi clad in a yellow saree, minimal makeup, with her hair placed in a bun and loose curls on the side, walked in struggling with her earrings that denied staying put on her ears. His heart started pounding faster as a never experience before emotion started taking toll of his body. He looked at her eyes that were shiny and playful, blushed cheeks, fuller lips. His gaze then shifted to her sleeveless low-cut blouse, giving him an ample view of her cleavage. Her creamy waist alluring him. He suddenly went dry. He wanted to pull her into a bone-crushing hug and kiss her like there's no tomorrow. He wanted to touch her just how she wanted to touch him. His passion took over him and he moved towards her in slow steps.

Sona was surprised to see Dev in her cabin and blushed a little when Dev was totally checking her out. As Dev started coming closer, she started moving backward only to be stopped by the door. She was stuck now. He was approaching closer and closer, her breath getting heavier and chest heaving harder. Her reaction was enticing Dev even more and he stood dangerously close to her with their chest touching. Dev started running his fingers over her smooth arm eventually taking the earring from her hand. Moving his face closer to hers he put the earring on her ear. Upon sudden proximity, Sona closed her eyes, her heaving breast were brushing across his shirt, sweat beads were forming on her face as her lip was in an inch distance from Dev. Dev found himself going hard, trying to govern his emotions but this girl just broke his control. He blew air over her face to cool her down but what about the heat brewing between them? She bit her lips nervously and moaned "Dev." He touched her lips with his fingers, caressing them as he looked at her eyes for permission. She closed her eyes and taking it as her consent, he brushed his lips slowly over hers, nibbling it lightly. He then left her lips, cupped her face gently, and touched their foreheads while closing their eyes. A few moments later, both opened their eyes and instantly realized what just happened. Dev suddenly moved a few inches away to let air pass between them. Sonakshi could still feel his lips on her. Did Dev Dixit just kiss her?

Trying to ignore the uncomfortable atmosphere around, she composed herself and asked " Dev.. umm I mean Mr. Dixit, what were you doing here?" He was taken aback by the sudden question and hurriedly said "I just came looking for something. But why is your saree here? Weren't you taking a few days off?" Sonakshi let out a little laughter at his question and replied that she was taking few days off but she had to meet her prospective husband to be today, so she came by the office to finish up leftover work before she meets him for lunch.

A sudden rage took over Dev as he heard her saythat she was going to meet someone. He glared at Sonakshi as if he would burnher down the minute. He again came towards her and caged her on the door withhis hands on either side of her head. "No, you cannot go meet anyone randomly,"he said curtly. The last time Sona saw him this angry was when his mother'shealth had worsened. With a surprised face, she asked "why?" Dev didn't knowwhat to say as he wanted to propose her in a more romantic way. So, he onlysaid, "Because I don't want you to." Sonakshi felt like he was taking control ofher life. He wouldn't love her, and he wouldn't let her meet anyone else, andwhat was with their kiss today? Weren't he and Natasha supposed to be together?It was getting overwhelming, so she pushed him hard on his chest, only to havehis body crash against her on the door. Both shared an intense glare. That's itthought Sona. "You cannot take control of my life, Mr. Dixit. You should be withNatasha right now. Why are you here convincing me not to go meet Ritwick? Do I stopyou from meeting others? You have no rights over me. Tumhi ekdom impossible."Her eyes were tearing up. 

Dev couldn't take it anymore, so he slammed his lipsinto hers. Sona was shocked and was protesting his moves. He bit her lower lipsand started suckling desperately. After a few seconds, Sona gave up fighting andbit his lips, slowly opening her mouth to let his tongue in. Now they were moaningin an empty office with their Tongue fighting for dominance. As they parted formuch-needed air, he pulled her for a hug. "I love you Sonakshi," he uttered. Sona froze at the moment. Just to be sure what she heard, she stammered while asking "You ...love... me.. like...a friend..or.." Before she could complete, Dev kissed her head and finally said " I LOVE YOU LIKE A MAN LOVES A WOMAN. I want to have rights over you. I cannot imagine you being with another man. I love you Sona. Be my forever please." 

Sona had imagined this so many times, yetwhen he said it felt new. She let the tears flow from her eyes and admitted "I love you more Dev. I also cannot imagine you with another woman. You are mineand solely mine. And only I should have rights over you." With this both themgot lost into their embrace until the time when people started crowding theoffice. Dev got up to leave, but Sona gave him a cute puppy face. Dev placed anopen-mouthed wet kiss, leaving Sona all flushed. He winked at her. They partedonly with a promise to see each other the soonest.
