Toby and I looked at the view of Trollmarket. I still couldn’t believe that Kiki never told me about all this.
Toby: This is…
Jim: Yeah.
Toby: Whoa.
Jim: Pretty much.
Kiki: Ok boys. Come on, we got training to do.
Jim: We? You’re still a cat.
Kiki: Are you down sizing me cuz I'm a cat?
Jim: No. I just don't want you to get hurt.
Kiki just stared at me. She looked down.
Kiki: Let's just go.
Jim: This is your home?
Blinky: Trollmarket is home and hearth and sanctuary for all good trolls.
Kiki: Ahem.
Blinky: And one witch.
Kiki: Thank you.
Blinky: This way, my friends. There is much to see.
Jim low fived Toby.
Toby: Dang! And here I thought the only thing underneath our town was dirt and plumbing.
Kiki: Stay close. Human feet have never graced the bound of Trollmarket before.
Kiki hopped on Jim. She liked being a cat sometimes. Jim pated Kiki's head. She purred a little. Jim laughed a bit.
Troll #1: Humans?
Aaarrrgghh: Friends.
We walked through the rest of Trollmarket.
Jim: This is crazy! Are you getting this, Tobes?
Toby: Oh, yeah. On it.
They walked around Trollmarket looking at everything. For a while. Toby named some minerals.
Blinky: Your knowledge of minerals are almost troll-like, Tobias
Jim: So, your kind, you all live here?
Kiki: Trolls travel from afar to their market to fine comfort and remedies. You'll find most anything you need and sometimes you will find what you never needed.
Someone was watching them and growled.
I saw a small gnome on the ground beside me.
Jim: Oh, hey, little guy! That’s a cute pointy hat. (the gnome bares its teeth) And pointy teeth!
Kiki hissed at it and it ran away.
Kiki: Vile vermin.
Jim: What is that?
Kiki: Gnomes. Pesky little things.
Blinky: We only tolerate them for their grooming services.
Jim: Grooming?
Kiki: They eat the parasites on the larger trolls
Some were on Aaarrrgghh. He fliked them off.
Toby: Jim! Jim! Check it out! Maximum coolosity there.
Toby shows me the biggest orange crystal in the middle of Trollmarket.
Jim: Look at that. It’s amazing!
Aaarrrgghh: Heartstone.
Kiki: The life force of trollkind.
Blinky: The means that keeps us from crumbling to stone and the source of light and sustenance.
