The Home Invasion

June 10th 2018

Amity's POV
"I'll be back I'm going to go see if Miss Clawthorne needs help with anything." I say grabbing my bag I would need for my 'travels'.
As soon as I shut and locked the door behind
me. I started to run to the owl house and looked in the window to see if anyone was home. Luckily everyone was sitting at the table talking. As usual would go barrow sugar or something but this time was different.
I wanted to hang out with Luz and maybe King.
"Hi Amity Hoot. Are you here to barrow something again." Hooty said as a greeting the girl with green hair. " No well I was actually going to ask for Luz." I say lightly knocking on the door. "You know it's open right?" He says in an annoying way. "But it's always polite to knock away." I say trying not to get in argument with the house. We talked until the door opened to Lilith. "Oh Miss Blight you here to burrow something?" She says grabbing her staff from the closet. "Not today Miss Clawthorne, I'm actually here to hangout with Luz. Is she around?" I say looking around to see if Luz was they. " Well Eda and I are going into Bonesburrow to get ingredients for a potion I'm working on." She said as Eda grabbed her staff to go with her sister and then they both left.
After a moment, I found Luz in the living playing with King. "Hey Amity, happy for you to drop by. Luz says surprised at my arrival. "I was wondering if you wanted to hang out?" I said as I sat next to her. "Sure." Luz says as she grabbed my again walked out the door.

Luz's POV
We were walking for a little. Looking around at the trees to see if we can find bugs or forrest animals or wild spirits. "Luz, look at this." Amity says noticing a dark cave. "Let's check it out." I say grabbed my camera and running in the cave. "Luz! Wait up." She says running after me.
"Amity this is kind of terrifying." I say putting my hand on her shoulder. "I'm sure it's fine we are only exploring it for a little bit then we'll head back." She said assuring me that everything will be okay.

Amity's POV
We were in the cave. I casted a light spell so we could see. "So how do you know my aunts?" Luz asked as we walked deeper in the cave. "I never told anyone this but...my older brother and sister died during a home invasion 5 years ago and they looked after me for a few months until my case worker found my parents and took me away, I was 9 when it happened" I explained. "I'm sorry." Luz said as she puts her hand on my shoulder. "It's ok Luz, I'm glad we hung out today." I say as we started to head out of the cave. Once we were out we headed down the path back to the house. "Can we get a picture?" She asks putting out her camera. "Sure." I say sweetly as she puts her arm around me. When we are were finished the camera spilled out the photo like a bolt of lightning. "Ok I will see ya tomorrow, Ami," Luz said kissing my cheek. "See ya." I muttered blushing as I started to walk to the mansion.
