Chapter 4

Throughout that lunch i noticed that Alana and Ashton were looking over at our table quite alot. "Hey, babe im just gonna go get a drink, ill be back soon," i told Luke pressing a kiss to him lips, and jumped off his lap, then left him with Chad and Natalie.

Ashtons P.O.V

I was telling Alana about music class and how Kelly wasn't a popular bitch she was actually really nice. "Stop obsessing about her Ash," she chuckled "I-I'm not obsessing I'm just informing you that she is nice and not a bitch or a slut, which is a good thing, especially for a popular person!" I told her with a firm tone trying to prove I wasn't obsessing. I just couldn't help myself but to look at Kelly during that lunch. When i turned my head towards her table I saw her already staring me, "I wonder how long she has been looking here for?" I questioned Alana. "Huh?" Alana responded with confusion written all over her face. From the corner of my eye I saw Alana turn her head to the direction I was looking in.

I let out a little giggle when I saw he acting rather unusual with she was laughing on her own, I then noticed her like awkward smile creating only one dimple on her right cheek. I saw her then whispering into likes ear, followed by a kiss, I didn't know how to react to that so I just turned back to Alana to see her giving me and look of concern. "Where is she going?" Alana mumbled following Kelly with her eyes. After lifting my head to see Kelly walking over towards the canteen, I-I just couldn't believe how breath taking she was. I saw Alana watching my as my jaw dropped "stop being a moron and go talk to her, you've been obsessing over her so all lunch," she said a little frustrated. "I wasn't obsessing," "Fine you weren't obsessing just go talk to her" Alana said with a little bit of sass in her voice while rolling her eyes. "Okay but your coming with me" I reply slightly looking into her eyes, while grabbing her arm. "Argh, whatever" she grounded.

As me and Alana approached Kelly at the canteen she suddenly turned around giving me a bit of a shock. "Hey Ashton" she greeted with a large smile. "Um hey" I replied pulling an awkward smile. "What are you doing here?" Kelly asked raising and eyebrow, "I guess I wanted to come talk to you I guess" I shrugged scratching the back of my head. I felt I nudge coming from Alana on my left side rib. "Aw thank you I was actually gonna come over to you and ask if you and your friend wanted to sit with us this lunch," she asked generously "oh, her name is Alana and what about Luke he called me a dork, he clearly has something against me," I glared at her with a bit of a scared face. "He'll be fine, like I said in class he hasn't been himself today, but I'll make him accept you," she replied, flicking her hair with an innocent smile.

Me, Kelly and Alana walked over to Kelly's table. "Hey guys, um this is Ashton and Alana," pointing to us as she introduced us. "hello, everyone said with a dull voice. I looked over at Luke recieving a dead stare, i started to feel quite uncomfortable, "me and ashton are doing a music assignment together," Kelly churped swinging her hair from side to said as she looked at me for a quick second and looked back to her friends.

"Sit down," offered a blonde girl sitting on the other side of the table, " o-okay" i stuttered. I plopped myself down next to Kelly and Alana since they were the other people I knew there, besides Luke but if I sat next to him I'm afraid that I would get bashed. As lunch carried on Luke and Kelly were really flirty with each other and they shared some kisses. When they kissed I sorta thought to myself, what is a girl like her doing with a guy like that, she deserves way better than that asshole. They bell rang and everyone departed from the table leaving me and Alana walking with each other to our next class. As we were walking down the hall I felt a hand grab my shoulder yanking me back, I felt a thrashing pain on my back as I got slammed on a locker, the hallway was empty and no one was there so I shut my eyes scared to see who it was. "Ashton!" I heard Alana yelp. My eyes we shut tightly, until I heard a farm iliac voice say, "look at me when I'm talking to you!" I opened my eyes slowly to see a blonde haired boy with a lip piercing. Great. It's Luke, as soon as I realised it was him I rolled my eyes as I'm still pinned against the locker. "I saw the way you looked at Kelly" he exclaimed angrily, "what do you mean?!" I exclaimed, "the way you looked at her with such a loving look, we'll guess what she's my girl and just because you guys are doing an assignment together doesn't mean that you can do stuff with her so don't get any idea okay dweeb!" He bellowed in my face. "She deserves better than you" I responded with a cheeky face" he loosened his grip and hurt seemed to appear in his eyes. "Luke get off of him," said Mr.Bates as he was passing through the halls, I shoved him off of me causing him almost trip over his own feet. I walked off with innocent smile.

When the home bell rang, everyone just walks out class weather they had been dismissed or not. I strolled to the bus stop, as soon as got there it took the bus around a few minutes to get there. Everyday when the bus arrives there is hardly anyone from our grade they all had their licenses I wasn't to far behind them cause I was on my L's and soon go be on my P,'s so soon I can drive home.

Everyone hoped on the bus as it pulled up next to the path way, my bus comes pretty early we'll earlier than the other buses, I was always the last onto the bus. As I went to find a seat I saw Luke with an empty seat besides him as soon as I saw Luke I turned around and tried not to laugh and I think he saw me since, when I looked back he gave me a look that could kill a thousand men, that's if looks could kill, I look around the bus still scanning for a seat the only seat left. "Fuar...!" I mumbled in frustration trying not to swear, "Ashton you need to take a seat, and no ones going anywhere until you sit down" the bus driver announced over his microphone. I walk over to the seat next to Luke sitting down next to him with a bit of an attitude. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and reached into my bag to find my headphone. Once I find my headphones I plugged them into my phone and the first song that came on was '7 things I hate about you by Miley Cyrus' I thought it was a coincidence since I didn't like Luke and Luke didn't like me, and he was sitting right next to me. I could feel that Luke was staring at me with such hatred. From the corner of my eye I saw him look away so I quickly glanced at him and rolled my eyes, I never really roll my eyes but it seems to become a habit when I'm around Luke, when I am around him I always feel so negative, when ever I see him he always has either an angry face or an annoyed face.

As I went to go get off the bus I saw Luke following behind me, I thought that he was gonna try beat me up but once we started walking a realised that he lived in a house down the road from me. I started to departure from the pathway to my house, when I reached my front door I stood and watched Luke walk down the road and he lived in the biggest and riches house in the while street. I knew he was rich but I didn't think he was that rich. Luke turned around and caught me staring, he fully turned his body and started walking backwards, "beat it loser" he shouted while flipping my a middle finger, he then turns himself back around and carried on like nothing happened while he laughed, he laughs pretty loud I could here him laughing from up the road. I was so tempted to do the same but I chose to be the better person and just walked inside chucking my bag down on the floor feeling infuriated about Luke's gestures, I walk to my room slamming the door with all my force. And I just laid on my bed until I felt calm and I eventually fell asleep.
