The Reality of it All. 

We are all stuck at home due to a pandemic.

I look at my screen for 6-7 hours a day,

trying to stay on top of my school work.

It's not ideal,

with all the ideas scattered,

We all ask the same question,

"Does any of this really even matter?"

I wonder how much longer this will last,

but then again, I'll still just be stuck in class.

As the holidays begin to shine,

some new hope is revealed.

I feel the stress rolling off my shoulders.

The smells of the food,

the sound of presents being wrapped,

and all the Christmas movies in the background.

All the joy and excited come rushing back,

but here we are, still stuck inside.
