chapter ~ 1

I woke up to my alarm beeping like crazy. I quickly slammed my hand on the button. I groaned throwing the covers off me and and getting up. I turned my light on and walked to my closet. I got a white tank top with a blue long sleeve over shirt with a pair of skinny jeans. I went into my bathroom and got ready to take a shower. I quickly got in the shower.

When I got out of the shower I put the clothes I'd picked out on and brushed my teeth. I slid my black vans on. I pulled my hair up into a high ponytail and put a white scrunchy in my hair. I walked downstairs to be greeted by my older brothers Tyler and Will.

"Morning Emma" Tyler said.

"Morning"

I grabbed an apple for breakfast and grabbed my stuff for school. I headed to the bus stop and saw my friend, Kendall. Kendall and I have been best friends since he moved here in 4fh grade. I've had a crush on him since we were little, he knows because my friend told him and now he hasn't talked to me the same way since.

"Hi" I said shyly.

"Sup" he said back.

The bus finally showed up and we walked in and sat in our usual spot.

Kendall and I started our nonsense conversation when the bus stopped at school.

I quickly got off the bus not wanting to be late to class. I ran into my best friend, Sophie. Sophie has long dark brown hair, which is usually in a ponytail, black eyes and caramel colored skin. She says she's ugly but I don't believe that.

"Hey em" she says.

"Hi sophie"

Sophie ass I walk to algebra together. When we get there I quickly take my seat in the back so I won't get noticed. My friend Avery sits next to me. Avery is really tall and has light brown shoulder length hair.

About 35 minutes into class Ashton, bad boy, walks into class. Ashton isn't one of those cliche bad boys. He's hardcore, he does drugs and drinks and he hooks up with a lot of girls.

"Why are you late again Ashton?!?" Ms.Bradley asked clearly annoyed.

"Fuck off"Ashton snaps.

He walks to the back to take a seat. Unfortunately the only one left is on my right.

"Hey princess" he says to me.

H-hi"I reply shy and quietly.

Sophie and Avery turn and smirk at me. I blush a deep red for some unknown reason. He notices and chuckles.

"Your cute what's your name cutie?"he asks.

"E-Emma"

"That's a pretty name for a pretty girl" he says.

I just blush and try to pay attention to ms.Bradley.

The bell finally rang which ment I had to go to study hall in the library. I put my stuff in my locker and headed to the library. While I was walking to the library I saw Ashton and his friends. They all wore similar clothes. Ashton wore a black AC DC muscle tee with black skinnys, a black and white bandana with black convers. His friend Luke, I think that's his name, wore a ' YOU COMPLETE MEss' shirt with black skinnys and black combat boots. His friend Calum wore a plain black t-shirt with a black and white flannel tied around his waist with black skinnys and black convers. His friend Michael wore a plain white t-shirt with a black leather jacket, black skinnys, and black combat boots. I mean not that I notice. They were outside leaning against the gym building smoking a cigarette.

I was about to walk into the library when I felt someone shut the library doors as I was trying to open them. I turned around and saw Ashton.

"I saw you staring at me and the guys a minute ago" Ashton stated.

"Um..uh..I'm s-sorry"I studdered. I can't believe he caught be. I'm so embarrased. What if he hummiliates me like everyone else does.

"Chill its okay I just thought it was cutes all" he replied making me blush.

"Oh o-okay"

"Are you nervous? cause when I try to talk to you you always studer" Ashton asked me.

"A little I'm just not us-used to talkin t-to a lot of people."

"Oh okay...well just relax I won't hurt you I promise" he said with a chuckle.

"Hey Emma" I heard someone say from a few feet away. I turned around to see Kendall.

"Um..Ashton I-I gotta go b-bye"I said walking towards Kendall.

"Did I just see you talking to Ashton Irwin?" Kendall asked.

"Ya"

"Stay away from him he's a bad influence on you"

"You sound like my mom"

"I'm serious em"

"Kay gotta go to study hall bye Kendall"

"Bye"

*******LUNCH*****

I sat down at our usual table next to Sophie. Across from me was Avery then Hillary then Kendall. Hillary has dyed ginger colored hair. Hillary scared me at times but she was the one you could tell any kind of secret to. Then next to Sophie was Riley. Riley has dark brown hair and she was the gothic looking one but her personality wasn't. We all sat talked about random things like usual when I get a text.

Hey can u meet me in the hallway? Its reAlly important

I locked my phone and went in the hallway with him.

"Okay what was so important u had to keep me from not starving myself?"

"I wanted to know if you would maybe wanna go out with me?"

"Sure"

He walked over and grabbed my hand intertwining out fingers as we walked into the cafeteria.
