As soon as Kendall and I walk into the cafeteria I felt a dozen pair of eyes in us.one pair of those stood out for some reason.....Ashtons.  Ashtons light hazel eyed stood out for a reason I cant explain or understand myself.

Kendall and i sat back down at our table. Of course everybody at our table asked us questions.

*After school*

Once I got home from school I said hi to my mom and brothers and headed straight to my room. Once i got in room I changed into an oversized hoodie and sweatpants.

"You better be studying Emma I want you to bring that low B to an A!" My mom yells.

"Yes mam" I say.

I hate it when she does this. She's always yelling at me for the stupidist shit.

I lock my bedroom door and lay back on my bed checking my texts.

My mom doesn't like it when I go out on a school night unless it's with Kendall. Kendall met my mom when we were about 7 since he asked me to be his valentine in 1st grade.

I changed into some skinny jeans and white ruffled tank top with a thin pink sweater and pink and grey vans. I headed downstairs right when Kendall knocked on the door.

"Mom that's Kendall I'll get it" I said loudly.

I opened the door ti see Kendall. He was wearing a sports hoodie, skinnys, and black Jordan's. His dirty blonde hair was messy and his green eyes were dull.

" Hey babe" kencall said making me blush from the name ' babe'. He chuckled.

"H-hi"I said.

"Awww don't be shy baby"Kendall said.

"Emma you know I hate it wh-" ny mom said walking down the stairs but stopped when she saw Kendall.

"Kendall what a nice surprise"

"Mrs. Henson how are you?"Kendall said in his nicest voice.

"Good what about you? Are you here to hang out with Emma?" My mom asked.

"Good and I'm here to pick Emma up"

"Emma did you study for at least 2hours?" My mom asked.

"Yes mam I studied for m-my science exam and my geometry test"I said.

"Ok you can go be back by 11"

"Yes'm"

"Thank you Mrs.Henson." Kendall said.

"Are you and Emma dating?"

"Yes mam"

"I'm so glad she foumd such a nice young man."  

"Thank you" we said as we walked out the door.

I got into Kendalls car instantly being engulfed by his scent and the warmth of the car.

"Where we goin"I asked cheerfully.

"A little get together on the beach."

"That sounds fun babe" I leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

We got to the beach 15minutes later. We stepped out of the car and I became a little cold. It was in the middle of Febuary in north Carolina so it was still cold. I walked down the beach by myself since Kendall wanted to go hang out with his friends.  None of my friends go to parties so I knew they wouldn't be here.

I sat down on the sand taking my phone and earbuds out to listen to music. I turned on I miss you by Blink 182 and just sat in the sand staring at the sky.

A few minutes later I felt someone sit next to me. I turned around and was met with bright hazel eyes.
