Chapter 19: Power Grab

"Is Luna alright?" Lucy asked as she stepped onto the bleacher, "We didn't see her so I'm hoping she didn't get too hurt." She rubbed the back of her neck and let out a deep sigh.

Sai held a hand to her while she petted Luna on the head, "She'll be just fine, dears. I didn't see any noticeable wounds and she seemed okay by how she acted." She responded with a faint smile.

Luna nestled her head in Sai's lap with her eyes closed and her body curled up.

"Well, that's good to hear!" Yori exclaimed with a smile, "I was ready to heal her but since she's fine looks like I won't need to." She soon chuckled and seated herself on the bottom row of seats.

Percy stared down at his feet in silence, "There's no telling how much longer it'll be until this ends. I'm also not sure how everyone will react once this is all over." He slid out his pocket knife and swiped it down his pants.

Ignis kept his back against the bars before he glanced over to the other bleachers.

"I'll be pleased with its end and hope to never participate again." He said while his tail wrapped over a bar.

Cheyanne let out a yawn as she stretched her back, "Ugh, I'm tired! Imagine having a bed to sleep in or food to eat after fighting for this many hours." She slowly ran a finger through her hair before twirling a strand of it.

"You could say that again, Cheyanne." Ruby replied as she smiled, "Once this is done I'm taking a day off to just sleep." She crossed her legs and pulled threads out.

Bane soon stood up from his seat, "At least you won't be on my case about everything." He snickered before Ruby punched him in the shin.

Spades remained silent as he hovered off the seats and folded his arms.

"If I'm correct there are only fifteen people left within this tournament." He held four fingers up, "There are four from our side so let's take this advantage and crush them."

Ignis stared at him while he kept his mouth closed as his eyes darted over to Lucy. She eyed him before shifting her attention over to Lucius. Her eyes reflected his stern gaze before she blinked and clenched her fists.

"I'm not letting him win and if it means I have to kill him then I will." Lucy placed a hand on the bars.

Verum glanced down at her from the platform while she pointed to the wheels. They soon spun quickly as Visperi stared at them.

"Visperi, will you be able to handle whatever comes your way this battle?" Verum's eyes shifted colors, "Don't lie if you want to stay back because I'll just-"

Visperi shook her head, "No, I'm determined to see this through and fight." She gazed into her eyes, "Let me know when the wheels are done spinning so I can get started."

Princess hurried down the hallway with Psy, Vesper, and Roxanne behind her. Dawn slowly peaked her head out from the hallway and caught up with them.

"Sorry for the wait but I'm well rested now and ready to help!" Princess shouted with a wide grin.

Ralph twisted his chair to them and waved while scratching his head.

"Hey kiddo, great to see you up and doing well!" He laughed as he stood up.

Psy waved back to him, "Yep, Princess has slept in enough. So how was the assault on the citadel? Did they stop those creatures from getting in?"

"Yep, they were defeated with ease." Tex replied with a smirk, "Got banged up a bit but I've had worse." She soon tipped her hat up.

Roxanne let out a squeal and hopped all over the place, "Oh! She looks so cool with all those injuries, right Vesper?" She stared over to her with a radiating smile.
