"Alright, I got a message typed out for them. I don't need any service to send it so fingers crossed." Cheyanne sent the message and slid her phone into her pocket.
Lucy nodded at her, "Well, all we can do is wait for another response." She rested her hands on her hips, "I also think we're nearing the halfway point of this tournament. So we just gotta hold on for a little longer!"

Percy stood up and stretched his legs before stretching his arms.
"Ah, if that's the case we should be seeing teams close to dropping out entirely. And that also means the rules may get crazier too."

Ignis eyed the other bleachers, "It's true that teams are about to start dropping. Team four only has one person left." He placed a hand on the bars.
"Hmm, I'm wondering if we'll ever run into Mei and her team again?" Yori rubbed her head, "Does this mean we'll have to fight them and get them eliminated too...?"

"That's how this tournament works, Yori." Bane replied, "It's not like they're dying if we beat them. Just don't worry about it." He laid down on a seat with his head resting on his jacket.
Luna soon pouted at him, "Aww, you mean I'll run out of playmates when this is done!? I need to fight again or else everyone will be gone!"

Sai petted her on the head while caressing Luna's back too.
"Relax, sweetie. You'll have plenty of time to fight new people." She noticed the monitor light up, "Oh my, I think they're about to start the wheels again."

Ruby gazed up at the monitor and crossed her legs while messing with threads.
"Whatever happens, I'll be examining teams who are participating again. We need strategy once the numbers grow narrow."

Spades glanced over to a being from team four, his eyes locked onto them. A female being with fire surrounding her body shone brightly. Her eyes glistened and reflected upon his mask. Verum let out a yawn and pinched her wrist before twisting it. A table emerged in front of her and food scattered out.
"Jinta, Alister, care to have some lunch?" She stabbed her finger into a slab of meat, "There's plenty to go around and I have a hunch this will be quite the battle."

"I'm fine, Master." Alister stood beside her as she scarfed down the meat.
Jinta shook her head, "No thank you. I'll go start the wheels real quick." She spun the wheels while the monitor caught them spinning.
Verum glimpsed at a bowl of soup and flipped it upside down. The liquid slowly descended in the air as she drank the soup and giggled.
"Suit yourselves! I'm going to enjoy every bit of this lunch." She grinned and held up a nutshell before crunching it into dust.
The wheels slowly halted to a stop and flashed on the monitor.
"Okay, the teams have been decided. Let me go make the announcement." Alister leaped off the platform and hovered toward the middle of the arena.

"Hey! I just a text from Cheyanne!" Reine held her phone up as the others gathered near her, "She must have seen the other message." Her eyes glanced side to side as she read the message.

"Anything important?" Tex leaned in, "They aren't in trouble are they?"

"They're in a multiversal tournament and can't escape until they win!" Reine exclaimed, "Apparently it's being broadcasted to other universes. We should see if that's a thing over here." She hurried over to a set of screens and switched them on. Static followed as she flipped knobs and changed the channels until shows popped on.

"A multiversal tournament?" Tex adjusted her hat, "They all got roped into a darn tournament and have to win it?" She slapped her knee and sighed.

"Gee! I would've loved to see something like that on daily television." Ralph folded his arms, "Plus my niece is participating in it and I have to cheer her on!"

Vesper pushed her glasses up and noticed a screen tuned in on the American news channel.
"Wow, I wasn't aware you got this kind of service out here, Reine. Will this pick up all sorts of waves from the universe?"
