Abbie's P.O.V~
I knock on Luke's bedroom door, hoping for a reply. I hear some shuffling sounds of paper before he speaks.
"Come in!"
I breathe out, pushing the handle down and walk in to find a shirtless Luke sitting at his desk.
"Oh, Hey Abbie" he says, leaning back.
"Hey, I've come to talk to you" I say, sitting down on his bed.
"Ok."
I place my hands beside me and smile towards Luke. He can't help but giggle and turn to the side. My smile becomes bigger and all of a sudden we are sat there laughing at eachother.
"What are we even doing?" I say, trying to pull myself back up.
"I have no idea" says Luke, letting out the last giggle.
I pull myself together and get my brain into serious mode.
"So what was it you wanted to ask?"
Luke says, relaxing in his chair. He places the pen inbetween his fingers, twiddling it about.
"Oh well it isn't a question but I want to talk about what happened yesterday" I say, thinking about the game of truth or dare.
Luke looks at me, smiling gently.
"Abbie, the thing is, what I said yesterday was true" he says, moving forward in his chair. "I really like you, I wasn't just saying it."
"Really?" I ask.
"Really."
I tilt my head slightly to one side, waiting for Luke to say some more.
"I was going to ask you" he pauses.
"Ask me what?" I say, my voice getting deeper.
"Well, um" he stops for a few seconds.
My heart beats faster and faster as I begin to think about what Luke is going to ask me.
"Will you go out with me?" Luke blurts out, going bright red.
I feel my face getting warmer and my palms become a little sweaty. I rub them gently across my jeans.
I knew the answer. Luke was a really nice guy and has a good sense of humour and his hair was just perfection. I relax back slightly letting strands of hair fall behind me.
"Yes" I say, grining at him.
Luke doesn't say anything. He just looks at me, a bit surprised. His baby blue eyes glisten as he reaches out for a hug. He pulls me in tight. I feel his breath against my neck. My body temperature slowly cools as he pulls away.
I hear a little noise outside, like a mouse squeaking. Suddenly, the door bursts open leaving Ali and Calum stood beside Luke's desk.
"Um, hey" Luke says.
"Hey Luke, what have you been doing?" Calum asks, raising one eyebrow.
"Um nothing" says Luke.
"Oh come on Luke! We've been listening in for the last 5 minutes" Ali says, giggling a little.
"Congratulations!" they clap and jump up and down.
Me and Luke laugh and smile at the happy couple, celebrating.
"So I guess we are all taken now" Abbie chuckles.
"Yes, yes we are" Calum says in a strict, deep sort of voice, making everyone laugh.
"I think we should all go out tonight to celebrate!" Ali says.
"Good idea" Luke agrees.
"What about the over 15's nightclub?" suggests Cal.
"Ok" I smile at him. Luke and Abbie agree.
Ali walks over to me, placing her arm around my shoulder.
"Good job" she says, smiling down at me. I smile back at her then towards a happy Luke.
