"I'm right here. Sorry, Destiney didn't know wouldn't let me leave without some makeup on and I wouldn't go with makeup on. It was quite a dilemma." Piper ran up and exclaimed. I laughed, this is why in many ways Piper and I are alike, we both don't like putting on makeup and fancy dresses, but duty calls. Piper's my mom's friend's daughter, she lives in Ulstea which is neighboring to Cedraylia so she stays with me pretty often. And just like that, we've arrived at the News Room for the Report.
"Welcome Princess Annabeth are you ready?" Greyson asks. I simply nod. "Well then sit down, we're airing in 2." We all sit down and make our selfs comfortable while Greyson looks at the camera and begins. "Hello, all of Cedraylia! Welcome back to another great night in a great kingdom. Today we all know what is being announced. The long-awaited announcement of the list of Suitors to our beautiful Princess Annabeth will be heard today. So now Princess Annabeth would you do the honors?"
"Of course, the suitors include Luke Castellean, Gage Durning, Brady King, Miles Torrez, Sam Johnson, Jason Grace, Damon Citro, Lyod Brannigan, Robin Clarkson, Frank Zhang, Brenton Theinman, Clifford Densenbery, Leo Valdez, Terrance Pickett, Matt Sloan, Taylor Kolk, Adam McHenry, Warren Sky, Will Solace, Vincent Beam, Logan Stewart, Chad Evans, Hale Morgan, Percy Jackson, and Collin Nelson. Officials will to the houses of the suitors and give further information and directions. Thank you for joining us and good night to all." I smiled at the camera before it shut off. Then got up and sighed. It was 10:00 but I still wasn't done for the night I had some political matters to discuss with my dad, finish the royal banking checking, and make plans for all the suitors before they got here. The life of a princess-soon-to-be-queen was hard.
"Are you nervous?" Malcolm asked. He was my younger brother by two years.
"Not really more like disappointed and annoyed. I'm only 23 and I'm supposed to get married already. How is that fair?" I exclaimed.
"Oh, honey we talked about this" My father came up from behind me and said.
"I know I know, but that doesn't I have to like it." I followed.
"Well whatever, just know that I'm right here beside you through this whole thing. Besides, you have to think that some of these guys are cute! There's Jason, Percy, Hale, Luke, and Brady. They look pretty good to me. And don't worry there are tons more where that came from." Piper started.
"Hey! I don't care about their looks, I just don't want them coming because they want to get the crown. I don't know if I'll be able to find true love through this selection. But that's whatever, I'm going to my room, good night mom and dad. Love you, you too Pipes!" I answered as I walked out of the room. I started on my work thinking about my future.
