It's beautiful here. But I can't relax. I miss him.
"I love you Chase." - I think when I look at the sky.
Back to present
Chase POV:
I feel so lonely right now. I wish someone would come. But this ain't happening today. I think they don't like me.
"Now that nobody's here, I won't be interrupted." - I think when cutting myself again.
Ten minutes later
I'm done. Time to eat some lunch. Wait! There's a person I can visit. It's Katie. I'll go here after meal.
Another ten minutes later.
"I'm here" - I think as I stop by the pet parlour.
Katie POV:
I'm minding my own business when I hear someone coming in.
"Hi Katie." - I look and see Chase.
"Hello Chase. Why did you came here today?" - I ask him.
"I feel lonely alone in the lookout." - He explain.
"Wait. Where's the rest of you?" - I say confused.
"They're on Hawaii for almost a week now. I decided to stay because I'm second in command and I have to help people when leader is absent."
"That's nice of you. Do you want to stay with me today?" - I offer him.
"I can! Thanks!" - He suddenly gets happier.
Time skip to evening
I feel good here. Katie's so nice and even Cali wasn't coming near me. I don't want to, but I have to leave tomorrow to clean up and go on a patrol. But it was fun today. We were talking a lot and even played outside. Katie even prepared a beanbag for me.
"Thank you. For this day." - I say to her as I lay down.
"You're welcome. I'm missing them too. But we have each other, right?"
"Yeah. Good night."
"Good night to you too."
Time skip to the morning
Katie POV:
I'm after breakfast but Chase is still asleep. Maybe I should wake him up. But when I almost touched him...
"Skye, I need to tell you something." - He mumbles in his sleep. I decide to wait.
"I love you. Everything about you, your cute personality, your pink eyes, your fluffy ears, I can say things like this for hours. I understand if you don-" - He suddenly stops. I think something happened. I try to pretend busy in case he wakes up. And that was good idea. Because he woke up after a while.
"Good morning Katie." - He speaks up.
"Good morning Chase. I made you breakfast. But I want to ask you one thing..."
