Chapter thirty-three

Marshall POV:
Then I lay down on the floor next to her and fall asleep.

Time skip to morning
Rocky POV:
„Ugh, why does morning come so fast?"  - I mumble as I look at the clock. It's 10 A.M. Why didn't Chase wake us up? I decide to pay him a visit. When I open the door to his it
revealed he's not there. That's weird. I start looking for him. But then he comes from the forest.

Chase POV:
I see Rocky walking towards me.
„Where were you and why you didn't wake us up?" - He asked.

FLASHBACK
After waking up I decided to see if anyone was outside. Then I saw something which I didn't expected to see. Someone put the flower bouquet by Skye's door. Someone also has crush on her. I'm sure she will pick him and not me, because I'm a failure, just a useless pup. (For fuck's sake, how many times do I have to tell you that you're not!) I run to the forest, trying to hold the tears. When I got far enough, I lay on the ground and start crying. (Why? Don't do this, you're awesome. Come on, go back and don't worry about this)

Ten minutes later
I've got to go back now, someone may look for me. I clean my eyes fast and start my route back to the lookout.
END OF FLASHBACK

„I just went for a walk, I didn't knew what time is it." - I say to him. (Why you fucking lying?)
„Ok. You seem very pale. Do you want me to wake the others?" - I offer.
„If you can, yes. Thank you. I'll go now."
„No problem. See you later!" - He wanders off back to his puphouse. As I don't have a megaphone, I'll wake everyone personally. „Maybe I'll start with Zuma." - I think as I walk to his place. After a moment I'm there. I slowly open the door, walk to him and kiss his forehead.
„Get up Zumy, it's morning already." - I nudge him.
„Good morning Rocky. What time is it?" - He asks.
„10 A.M. Good that it's Sunday." - He gets up and give me a morning kiss.
„Why didn't Chase wake us up?"
„I was wondering too but then he came from the forest. He said he went for a walk but I can feel he's lying."
„We'll ask him later. Let's do his duty now."
