Chapter 9: "What's the matter?"

: Ariele’s P.O.V.:

                I was at school, sitting on my chair in our classroom.

                I wonder why Zayn ran away when I called him last Saturday.

                 I know he will be in our house by that time.

                But what’s wrong?

                Why did he run away?

                I know he heard me calling him.

                And now, I have to look for him.

                So, I stood up from my chair and get out of our room.

                 I was walking down the hallway when I saw Zayn passed and went to the other way.

                I called him.

                 “Zayn!”

                 He didn’t run.

                He just continue walking.

                 So, I called him again.

                 “Zayn wait!”

                 I was running after him, until I was behind him.

                 I hold his grip.

                 “Zayn!”

                “What?” he said as if he was irritated by me.

                 But I don’t mind.

                “Are you running from me? You’re supposed to be in my house last Saturday, right?”

                 He didn’t answer.

                 “I know you heard me calling you but why did you ran away? What’s wrong?”

                “Nothing. I have to go.”

                Then he hurriedly walks.

                I hold his grip again, not to let him go.

                 “Can you tell me what’s the matter?”

                “Have I just said nothing?”

                “Yeah. But there’s really something!”

                “Whatever it is, it’s mine.” He walked.

                “No, wait!”

                “What? Can you let me go?”

                That was a head shot.

                 So I let go of his grip.

                I just let him.

                 Maybe, I should understand his side by this time.

                If he can’t tell me what’s going on now, then I’ll ask him tomorrow.
